We had an enjoyable stay in a beautifully maintained and peaceful park. The surroundings were clean and well-kept, which really added to the holiday atmosphere. The cottages are on the smaller side, but we were aware of that when booking, so it didn’t come as a surprise.
One downside, however, was the lack of air conditioning in any of the cottages. With the summer temperatures, it became very warm inside, and the portable fans that were provided didn’t offer much relief — they mostly just circulated warm air. As a result, it was very difficult to cool down the cottage and especially the bedrooms, which impacted our sleep quality. Opening the windows was the only option, but that unfortunately meant dealing with mosquitoes and their bites. Installing air conditioning would definitely be a worthwhile investment.
Additionally, during the first week of July there was no animation team present — presumably because the French summer holidays hadn’t started yet. This might be ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, but with young children, we really missed having any kind of entertainment or activities. It was completely absent that week.
All in all, it’s a lovely and well-maintained park in a beautiful setting, but on hot days and for families with children, there’s definitely room for improvement.
