"Three couples, cousins, stayed two nights at the Castello to explore Assisi and Gubbio. My wife and I and our young children stayed at the castle in 1998. We all thought it was special. Since then we have now been again twice and the experience has only gotten better and better! Highly recommend for an extremely unique experience in Umbria with much to see a in the area."

"Ho soggiornato la notte del 31 dicembre 2018 con i miei due figli in questo agriturismo. Siamo stati accolti cordialmente e abbiamo ricevuto tutte le indicazioni per soggiornare al meglio nella struttura. La camera è spaziosa, pulita, ordinata e soprattutto calda. "The views from here are breathtaking! Definitely worth being off the beaten tract. Close enough to Gubbio and the highway to make it possible to take trips to other cities in the area. Finding it is another story no GPS, but Tamara is wonderful and helpful at every turn. Would definitely go back!"

"Finding it was an adventure in the Italien countryside. We met many Italians on the way, but loved our stay. We loved the lady who was our hostess, even tho we spoke no common language. The place is homey and the breakfast simple. Lots of cats and garden and fields all around. "

"The Brufani is one of the oldest hotels in Perugia. The location is very centrally located, yet up on the Hill so not too congested. My room was a bit tired looking from a design standpoint, but it was an oversized suite overlooking the entire valley below and a medieval tower just feet away. Ask for room 138. They also have a lovely outdoor terrace for the perfect place for an aperitivo. The included breakfast is wonderful and the staff fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And stay there again. Perugia is a great base to stay and do trips around the Umbrian region. Simply Stunning and less crowds than Tuscany. "
