Idyllic holiday or weekend get-a-way just 92 klms north of Perth along Wanneroo Road/Indian Ocean Drive.

Amazing, family get-a-way.

Not a party house. There are party houses available but mine is not one.

The Moore River enters the ocean here with the area having much to offer the holiday maker. The river and beach are perfectly safe to enjoy. Our user friendly cottage is adjacent to the beach which is ideal for swimming, surfing, sunbathing, beach combing, and fishing, diving or simply watching the sunset while enjoying a quiet drink.
Reverse cycle air con, heaters, fire pit, (seasonal).

Bring your family pet.

Kayaks included in rate and used at own risk.

Canoe, paddle boat and dingy hire are available at the river mouth.

All parks in town are free of charge including the skateboard park.

The property is located across the road from the beach. Sit on the front veranda and watch the sun melt into the ocean. Alternatively sit at the 'Bali Bar' and feel the beach sand run through your toes as you sip on your favourite drink.

The Cottage

This immaculately clean cottage is designed for fun and lots of it.
You need to take sheets and towels.

House consists of:
Lounge: TV, solid fuel fire, electric heater, fans, air con.
Kitchen: Fridge/freezer, microwave and all utensils
Bathroom & toilet inside
Bathroom, toilet, laundry, second fridge; at the rear of the property
Bedroom 1-queen bed
Bedroom 2-queen bed
Bedroom 3 -sleeps 4, 3 singles, 1 double.

The best BBQ setting at the rear of the property.
Immaculate gardens designed for conversation, fun and laughter.
African thatched gazebos front and back, just perfect for long breakfasts that extend into lunch.

Kayaks and sand boards available for use at your own risk.

The Sport and Recreation Club welcomes visitors for a meal, a game of pool, mini golf, tennis, golf or an end of lawn bowls. Enjoy the club prices and congenial company.

The Desert is just the place to kayak to and roll down the hills.

Two convenience stores in town for fresh bread and any emergency supplies

Girls getaway

We are 5 women who catchup 2 or 3 times a year. Moore River was one of the locations we often visited. The house and grounds were lovely and suited us perfectly. Great location! Everything was well laid out, clean and all we needed was available.

Weekend Stay

Our stay was very enjoyable helped by being able to have our dog with us kayaks to use barbecue to cook the meat on and have meal in the outdoor balinese setting. The outdoor fire place was great too for the kids to cook their mershmellows.

Great place to stay in Guilderton. Will def come again. The only things missing: soap, toilet paper and towels. This is our first time using a Stayz so maybe that is normal, but would have appreciated those extra touches. 10/10

Issues that need attending too

We love the large well lit dining room with its huge windows perfect for craft. Beds are comfy , plenty of hot water, easy walk to the beach. Sadly our 5 night stay was not the best due to the kitchen being over run with ants. Our food in the pantry had to be placed on the wood heater or oven, we had to constantly check the kitchen benches before using them to prepare food, our toiletry bags also had ants through them in the bathroom. The owner reassures us they are onto the ant problem. Had we known they were so extensive throughout the living areas and also the grounds we would not have stayed. The cottage information needs updating as we took 2 large bags of wood only to find the wood heater not able to be used. The cottage does not have a dvd player as the information states but the tv has Netflix and Prime which was a pleasant surprise. We do hope to go back once the ants are under control.

Property was kept neat and tidy only grievances was that the whirlpool hot tub that was advertised as being at the property was not there we didn’t hire the house because of the hot tub but thought what nice bonus security might need upgrading

We will be back

We were very excited to visit Guilderton and it didn’t disappoint. Thea’s house is very well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Short walk to the dog beach, roadhouse with the general store and golf club a 2 minute drive. The kids room is fantastic, outdoor areas and garden really well maintained. Great stay , great value.

Good safe property, great location

Incorrect code supplied for lock box. Had to drive all the way back to Yanchep (return 100kms) to get phone coverage to contact Stayz Help Line to get the correct code. Got into the house at 9.30pm at night! Had to drive the dangerous Indian Ocean Road to and from Yanchep in the dark. We are older people and that additional time on the road put us at risk. We arrived at the property at 4.30pm in the day light before we discovered the problem of the incorrect code being supplied to us.

Lovely spot

Thanks for our stay. It was a great little weekend getaway spot! We loved the indoor fire place and the outdoor fire pit. Only recommendation to improve would be to please provide some extra toilet paper, some soap, and bin liners. Thanks for our stay!

Great Little Property

Great little property with ample size rooms for a short stay. Instant hot hot water, log burner and lots of little seating areas in the enclosed garden, safe for our dog to roam. BBQ was clean although out of gas, have emailed the owner about it, didn't affect our stay. A nice short walk to the dog beach and peaceful surrounding neighbourhood.
