t was around 3.30 AM when my tuk tuk driver stopped the auto all of sudden. I asked him immediately why he stopped it in the mid of the way. . He replied that I would have to climb from there till the fort becuase of the height. . I was exhauseted and just wanted to crash in the bed but I had to walk for another half an hour to reach the fort. . And all of sudden, my eyes caught something. I felt like something was standing at the distance. Yeah, I was actually a bit scared but I kept walking and soon some amazing pieces of rock sculptures were waiting for me. . Commissioned in 15th century by the King Man Singh Tomar, this magnificent fort has seen many ups and downs. . From Man Singh to Mughals, then the Great Marathas followed by British rule and finally Scindias who restored the beauty of this palace and today it proudly glorifies its history. .
