    Central Air/ Heat/ and Fireplace Island View on Birch Lake Enjoy time with family and friends at this beautiful lakefront property on Birch Lake. The lake has 15 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 45 feet. Good fishing is available on Birch Lake for northern pike, walleye, crappie, and largemouth bass. This lake is known for producing some quality walleye. Other fish include bluegill, rock bass, and perch.
    The main house is a charming updated 1400 square foot home with 3 bedrooms and a sleeping capacity of 6. There is a gas fireplace in the living room to enjoy the coziness on a cool evening, or a spacious large deck on the lakeside to enjoy an evening outside in the warmer months. The main house also includes a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a spectacular view of Birch Lake! We are just a few miles away from the Paul Bunyan state trails for snowmobiles and/or walking trails, Public Water access to launch your boat for water recreation and fishing. Weather permitting: the dock, kayaks, canoe lily pad and grill, and outdoor seating will only be available; typically from May 10th to September 15th.
    Summer Pontoons rentals are available, as well. Call Natasha 218-820-8571. Hackensack also has a great store to rent electric bikes in town. If you are in need of a boat rental please ask.
    Please, no more than 2 dogs on leashes at all times on the property. No cats allowed. All guests on the property must be listed. No additional guests or pets are allowed. If there are additional guests or pets, you will be asked to leave with no refund given.
    *There is NO room for Campers or RVs on the property.
    Check-in time is 5 PM. Check-out time is strictly 10 AM so that we can turn over the cabin for the next guests arriving. Every thirty minutes after 10 AM you will be charged fifty dollars per half hour. A rental agreement and liability forms must be signed 24 after the confirmed reservation.

Quiet lake view

The house has a nice view of the lake, and is on a small bay on the far end from the landing. That really reduces lake traffic, making our stay peaceful.

Great location, wonderful stay!

Perfect long weekend at the lake for a family of 5 and our dog! We enjoyed lots of lake time, relaxing on the deck and playing ping pong! The house was nicely stocked with basics - toilet paper, paper towel and trash bags - which was really nice. The kitchen had everything we needed and they also had a grill. Will definitely be back!

Spacious Deck with Beautiful View of Lake

This was a vacation with my 2 adult sons and their wives. The property had a game room with several fun things to do, a large lawn for playing yard games, a large deck for sitting and chatting, a large table for playing games in the evening, and a nice dock to swim off. We also rented a pontoon so got to see the beautiful lake. The owner was a great communicator and supplied everything we needed.

Great place, everything as listed

our family is very familiar with Hackensack but have never stayed here before. The listing is spot on. We had a wonderful time, weather was perfect and Julie made everything so easy. She has EVERYTHING you could ever need in a cabin. House is stocked with every appliance and she has all kinds of things to do. Games for indoor, a garage with pool table ping pong basketball etc and kayaks and canoes for outdoor use!! She answered any questions promptly and was very accommodating.. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great lake home. Thanks Julie for a great time.

Julie was great and is a very good host.

Great swimming area free of seaweed, cabin had everything we needed to have a great family trip. Daughter wanted to always come back to the cabin even while out doing other fun things. We will definitely come back to this cabin.

Great cabin and lake view

Julie was very helpful and accomodating. The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. Was nice to have the kayaks and other toys/floats available for use. Would definitely recommend for anyone thinking of staying!
