「The cosy cottage at Kaikoura is a great place to stay. The location is near many great walks, the sea and the boat excursions. It’s in a quiet location and there is no light pollution , so the stars at night are amazing. Seeing the sunrise and moonrise at the Kaikoura lookout is a must. The location is not far from town, seal colony , esplanade and town eateries. The location has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s clean and very comfortable. 「I booked this place for a girly weekend with 2 of my friends. Check In process was very clear and easy, house was clean and tidy and the views were absolutely amazing. My only gripe would be that the place has a slightly steep path up to the front door and a few uneven steps. When we went out the first evening we noticed the security lights didn't work which made it extremely dangerous getting down the steps and path. I notified the manager but they weren't really interested in coming to fix...
