「We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...

「Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Hotel staff are lovely, I feel sorry for them having to deal with my complaint which manager was supposedly going to contact me to resolve but hasn’t.. No mirror in bathroom, just the broken metal wire it should’ve been on. No hair dryer, iron, kettle or even any kind of cup to drink from in room. No toilet roll holder on wall so toilet roll just left on windowsill. Despite a double room booked only 1 hand towel and 1 larger towel in room. Staines all over the...

「Ideal central yet quiet location. The property was described accurately and was adequately equipped. Plenty of spotless linen provided and starter packs of beverages. It was exactly what we needed- I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone needing comfortable overnight/weekend/business accommodation. 」

「Very nice and helpful staff. A parking garage and some shops and restaurants were in immediate vicinity. The hotel is 20-25mins walking distance from Halifax train station, be advised though that the entire walk is uphill since the station is the lowest point of the city. The city itself is very accessible from the hotel with most shops and locations just a few minutes away. Very decently sized rooms with room for your luggage without feeling cramped in.」

「Limited parking ,comfortable cozy room there was a bit of a bad odour in the corridor outside the room no where to hang clothes, and shared bathroom but only staying overnight ,clean enough Ideal location when i go to gigs at The Piece Hall only a 5 minute walk away and only a 5 minute walk from the shops ,you let yourself in with a secure code.」
