Well lit, cozy and private basement suite with separate entrance. This one bedroom apartment is located in a fully renovated home and has everything you need for a short or long stay.



The unit features a kitchenette with bar fridge and deep freeze. For cooking there is a hot plate, countertop oven and microwave.



For those working on the go the home has ultra fast high speed internet.

When we opened the coded door to the entry to the suite, and discovered a dusty/dirty stairway with lots of cobwebs, we nearly turned around and left. But we pressed on, to a secondary entry way, and then through the suite's double-entry bathroom. Bathroom had one hand towel, one folded, and presumably laundered bath towel, and another hanging bath towel we didn't use because we couldn't determine it to have been laundered. Why wouldn't it have been folded?? Beetles and spiders crawled into the bathroom from under the entryway door. Kitchen is minimally equipped, with no dish towel, though there was a cloth under the sink that appeared to have been used for dusting. Bar fridge/freezer: Freezer had at least an inch of frost all around the inside, and no separate door shutting it off from fridge. Living room: Dirty area rug, and large dead spider next to stairs leading up to host's home. Bedroom: best of all spaces, though no where to lay luggage. Sadly the suite hasn't been at all sound-proofed. We could hear every footstep of the linebacker who must've lived upstairs, as if he was about to come through the basement ceiling. Further, he's quite loud spoken, so we could hear every word he spoke as if he were sitting in the same room as us. Would definitely not stay here again in the future.

The apartment is in the basement. You can hear all sorts of noises from the apartment building, so you have no privacy. The ventilation system is incredibly noisy, even at night. There are no tools available for even basic cleaning. I didn't receive a response to my request for a dishcloth. I wouldn't come here again.

Great spot to relax. Lots of space, and comfortable bed and bedding. Kitchen was quite functional once I got use to how everything worked, but my only complaint was that the pots and pans had a bit of dust particles on them. Great parks nearby, and many options to walk a dog. Very quiet street with little traffic. Didn't affect us, but warning —one can hear everything in the main house above, so assume they can hear you. Would definitely stay again. Neighbourhood is wonderful

Great Spot

Very lovely spot! Location was fantastic, very quiet and with the dog having the park just a few minutes walk away was amazing. Hosts were also very quiet, we questioned if they were even home all weekend as there was that little noise from upstairs! Our only complaint was that there were a lot of hair on the bedsheets and pillow cases when we arrived. Aside from that everything else was very clean and in working order! Hosts were very quick with any communication needs as well.

Basement unit where you can hear everything and everyone upstairs. 1.5 roll of toilet paper for two adults staying 3 nights. Messaged host on first morning re TP and no dish cloths, and no reply until after we checked out. Park nearby was great to walk dogs to.

Nice, but needs a good deep clean

Nicely redone property. Entrance was a bit sketchy. Everything was surface clean however the floors needed a good scrubbing. Stains and spots throughout. Bugs, spiders and cobwebs present. Bed looked fine at first glance, but when we pulled back the sheets there were hairs throughout as if it hadn't been cleaned or changed. We didn't even sleep in the sheets. We were disappointed with the cleanliness.

Clean and quiet

Our stay wasn't bad, I only have two complaints: It was a bit chilly in the basement And the volume on the tv didn't turn up, i had to read the subtitles because i couldn't hear it. The host was very easy to get ahold of, he responded right away when i messaged him. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, bus stop very close.

Cozy and clean

We had a pleasant stay. The suite was in a good location and close enough access to the highway when we were leaving. Justin answered our questions in an appropriately prompt time frame. He also addressed the outdoor door handle issue promptly. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment had the necessities in terms of amenities. We also appreciated that it was dog-friendly and the neighbourhood provided a good location for walking our pet. My only recommendations would be to include a couple more towels, a hair dryer, a dish cloth and towel, extra blanket, and perhaps post the wifi password in the apartment.

Very nice place and great location

The suite appears to be new or recently renovated so very nice and comfortable. Great location close to many things we wanted to see and there are several parks within walking distance. For anyone thinking about staying there, you WILL hear the owners over the bedroom. A white-noise machine may be helpful. Other than that, awesome place!

OK accommodation, with one exception

The Accommodations were nice, although the set up is weird where you have to walk through the bathroom to get into the main living space from the outside. The exception is that we were not expecting that we would smell pot smell through the vents while we were there. With allergies, this was a little bit tough to put up with.
