The property is huge and was clearly refurbished recently. The location was very convenient to museums, restaurants, waterfront, etc. The parking deck across the way was adequate and did not break the bank (I think we paid about $40 for the parking for our two-night stay). Getting into the building and up to the room was a little convoluted, but the directions the host provided in advance of checkin were clear. However, no guest manual was provided explaining things like how to sort the trash and how various things in the apartment worked, such as closet lights and HVAC that were a bit unusual and not intuitive. Our host was responsive and patient with our questions, but it took several rounds of questions to extract clear and complete information. Halifax was pretty much filled up the days we were there due to some large events, so we did not have a lot of choice in properties; had that not been the case, we likely would have chosen something less expensive.
