Dripping Springs Hamilton Pool Preserve Hotels

"We had a beautiful time reunioning with a multiple family friend group at this luxury ranch. For us, the centerpiece and real draw was the pool. The kids were in it from morning until night. The depth of 4’-6’ with a shelf along one side was perfect for getting some of the younger ones more confident with swimming. The size was great for our crowd and not so big that pool parents got too tired from marathon sharks and minnows. The location made it easy to call inside for a replacement shark when necessary.Inside, the kitchen was unbelievably well stocked, with the quality of items unmatched in most rentals. We cooked all of our meals except for one trip out to Jester King brewery for pizza (which, with the misters, was comfortable even in the Austin summer heat). There was even a full stash of nice Tupperware so that we could store leftovers efficiently. The pool table was the nicest we had ever played on, and many of us enjoyed a game or two when we came in for a break from the pool. We were also very excited to use the fire pit for s’mores, and enjoyed an incredible view of the sunset. The estate is massive and pristine with complete privacy. It was so nice to be able to let the kids roam between the fort, the lawn and even to check out the longhorns. It seemed like we discovered something new to enjoy each day.Owner Alicia was extremely responsive and friendly before and during our stay. We highly recommend this property, definitely 5 stars!"

"My son and his friend(both17), me and our dog Pixie absolutely enjoyed our stay. Beautiful scenery with a great view from the little house with birds of all types (had not heard a Whippoorwill in YEARS but did our first night there) but my favorite were the dozens of hummingbirds that buzzed around due to the feeders on the porch. I say in a chair hammock every morning to watch them and enjoy the view. Dave and Patricia were so very nice and their property was . A little out in the country and very secluded but I loved it. I highly recommend. "

"Even with the creek dry we had a lovely relaxing stay. Loved the porch with the view of woods, creek & up the hill. Beds are comfortable, WiFi is good & kitchen has everything you need. Looking forward to staying again after the drought. BBQ grill & fire pit w/wood on property. Would like to mention there is an Italian restaurant only on 20 minutes away with great pizza!"

"Property is beautiful, from the Casita to the pool area to the pavilion area. Great weekend getaway from the city to relax and soak in the breeze and views. Great attention to detail with the games, fire pit, TV at the pavilion. Casita had absolutely everything we needed, they even thought of having a Brita water pitcher in the fridge. Planning another weekend soon and telling family to join us. "

"The house and property was beautiful. We had pretty much all the amenities we needed during our stay. The driveway to the house was very difficult to maneuver due to the uneven gravel, and there were a lot of flies and gnats in the house. Otherwise, no complaints! The property manager was very communicative and helpful during our stay. "

"This beautiful and spacious home was exactly what we were looking for: modern but cozy; conveniently located but tucked away from the crowds; clean and tidy but not fussily so. We spent most of our time poolside, enjoying the patio's total privacy and the perfect temperature of the water. There was plenty of room inside to entertain, with a wide-open floor plan and plenty of comfortable couches and chairs to crash on at the end of a long day swimming. The upstairs bedrooms, while Spartan, are comfortable and very clean, with sturdy beds and a variety of pillows available to suit any preference.We will be traveling to Austin quite a bit in the coming months and will definitely return to this property in the future, highly recommended! "

" Stayed here with a few other family members and really enjoyed all of the large separate spaces and bedrooms. The game room was a fabulous amenity to have the kids able to play and enjoy some fun. We were extra grateful to have the overflow fridge for storing water and drinks in the garage as well. The house stayed relatively cool with separate thermostats upstairs and downstairs, but it ran and ran and ran the whole time. I think it may need filters changed, especially before the warmer months hit. The coffee bar was delightful and great to have out of the way of the kitchen. The coffee maker dripped the slowest I’ve ever seen in my life. Lol I think it may need to be decalcified or cleaned or may be replaced. Coffee tasted fine. It just was unbelievably slow. we would definitely stay here again and the property really was beautiful with a nice view. The location is good and has a couple of restaurants nearby and a gas station. It is pretty far from a regular grocery store, so just keep that in mind. Thanks for a great stay!"
