“The Dar el Jeld is like visiting a fancy aunt's house. My Tunisian friend pointed out the vessels that her grandmother would have used to make rose water or store couscous and I noticed the inclusion of local plants (jasmine, prickly pear) in the decor. It was a delight for the senses and we would have stayed more than the two nights if the hotel wasn't already fully booked. The hotel van pick-up was super helpful. “The reception lady always with a poker face and very arrogant. The room was not clean, especially the bed sheet was very dirty. The room service call can never been connected, nobody was answering the call. ”
