“Overall the trip was great the house was not bad, But the driveway is very rough on low riding vehicles. I also found it weird that during my stay the owner message to me to let me know he would be dropping off a snow plow at the house that day. I know it's their property and all it just felt weird as I paid thousands of dollars to be there.”

“We booked this property for 3 nights/days but stayed one night. The camp was clean, well stocked with essentials and fairly easy to find when using our vehicle's navigation system. My youngest enjoyed using a kayak for the night we were there, and the swimming area was nice. I always read reviews before I book a vacation on VRBO. Please do not underestimate the parking spaces. I assumed with our 3 smaller vehicles we could fit in the 3 allotted places but the 2 we came with the first day were……

“This camp was great. The screened in porch had an amazing view of the pond. If it had been a touch warmer we would have had our dinners out on porch. But it was lovely to sit out on and watch the ducks. The kitchen had everything needed and more! Lots of dinnerware, cookware, and utensils. The property owner was very helpful. Lots of good information about the camp and area. She gave us some time to get our stuff in and get settled a bit before she visited. The location was just the right amount……

When a nasty storm came through, we lost power for three days. Normally, the trip would have been ruined. However, when the lights went out, the house generator switched on without skipping a beat. “My husband, miniature schnauzer and I had the best time at Cabin Beaver!!! Location - remote, secluded, peaceful, private, safe, easy to get to. Cabin - meticulous, well equipped, comfortable. The stairs to the loft are steep, but doable. Outhouse - spotless, odorless Outdoor shower - hot, great pressure, reliable, fun to shower outside Many activities to be had on the island and many spots to chill as well!! Coffee on the east side with the rising sun, early swims in the fog rolling off the……

“The house has a cozy cabin feel. Towels (bath and beach!), life vests, canoes, trash bags and other basic kitchen supplies were there! Everything was clean and comfortable. The dock wasn’t out but it was still early in the season. Nice small beach (would still recommend water shoes) and fun fishing! Quiet pond with lots of wildlife. Dollar General in one direction if you need anything, and a gas station/pizza/ice cream pls e in the other direction for all other supplies. Only 45 minutes from……

“So, what can I say that hasn’t already been highlighted. The property itself is your a typical Maine lake house. It is close to a few amenities like Hannifords and a few restaurants but not too far from Bangor. The interior is completely updated and is stocked as you would expect with top quality rentals. Views are top notch. And Ben our host is and was extremely responsive. This is definitely a place I would recommend If you’re on the hunt for something off the regular market. A+ listing as……
