50th birthday celebration

The property was perfect. Clean, easy to cook in (we made a turkey with all the fixings for Thanksgiving) and a great location. The ocean is visible from every room and I’ll miss falling asleep to the ocean sounds. Beaches were fantastic as was the access to the Na Pali coast! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice location away from the crowds. Wonderful grocery and sandwich shop right across the street. Several nice beaches within a mile. Wonderful back porch with excellent views.

Fabulous location on Kauai

The home was well appointed with every necessity in the kitchen and also beach gear (chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear) was great. Very comfortable home with an incredible view and convenient market and coffee/shave ice/sandwich shop right across the street. Our host was very helpful in making recommendations for activities and restaurants. A most wonderful vacation for our family!

The house and view is beautiful and amazing. Enjoyed the county market across the street and the local animals that came to visit. No matter where you went on the island you saw many different things and people were pleasant and the food trucks were amazing. Enjoy the fire show, tubing and the side by side adventure.

Lovely stay!

Kitchen is well equipped. View is amazing through luxurious sliding windows. Beds are very comfortable. Wi Fi works, but expect cell phone reception to be spotty because the locals don"t want a tower. Location is perfect for visiting the north shore. If we return, we hope to find this vrbo still available. Highly recommended.

Great location and house.

The house was great and the location was perfect. My only complaint was that it was hot during the day without A/C and the pictures make it look like you can walk or swim across the river right to the beach but that isnt true. Its a decent walk to that beach but in reality thats not the beach you want to hang out on anyways. I will one day, hopefully, stay here again because we had a great time and the set up was just about perfect!

Amazing!

From the OMG moment on opening of the front door to the last moment, this property was amazing. The views, the peace, the quiet and serenity was more than we could’ve hoped for. The house is perfectly set up with 2 master suites, one on each side of the house and a middle bedroom. 3 bathrooms and a large common area and kitchen. The large lanai was perfect for relaxing and just soaking in the ocean views. Breathtaking! Perfectly located near several beaches and a small store right across the road. This is definitely a property we’d love to come back to. Mahalo!

You have likely seen the photos for this property so the feedback is simple: amazing and for us exactly what we hoped for when we first saw the listing.The lanai in the back is the place to be…starting when you wake up and ending while watching the sun sets. Even, or especially, when it is raining, the experience/view really made us appreciate the opportunity to stay here.Bedrooms are spacious as are the bathrooms…overhead fans at night were nice. Kitchen had everything you could want…and if espresso is your coffee of choice then the cafe across the street has a great vibe. Also, we enjoyed the conversations with the folks who work there.10 minutes from Hanalei and from Haena, so a great location to get to the beaches and hikes and stores and restaurants.Highly recommended!

Waves crashing

We loved going to sleep hearing the waves and feeling the breeze. Kitchen is well appointed. We were 6 adults and a 5 yo. You can see the beach and river but accessing it is not easy. There are plenty of beautiful beaches to explore so just have to plan on driving a little ways. Comfortable beds and great showers.

Oasis!

Amazing views! Loved staying at the northwest end of the island. Close to Hanalei and Princeville. Couple of items needed updating such as the toilet paper ring and ice maker was non functioning but don’t let this deter your decision to stay in this home. The amenities, design layout of the home, airy and breezy with the sliding glass doors open made this home like heaven! Beautiful sunrises!! We would definitely stay in this home again!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Overall we loved our stay here. It was clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, the view is breathtaking, and communication with Victoria was great! She gave very detailed instructions and suggestions, which were helpful. Our only criticism would be that the listing does not say that the beach/river behind the home is completely inaccessible. The view is beautiful, but you can't go near the water. Lastly, I must mention the Wainiha Market across the street. It is full of warm, lovely people who made us feel at home immediately and added to the fun of staying here. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much!

A great place for R&R

The house was a great place to relax for week - well situated between Hanalei and the Napali Coast. We rarely had need to venture farther than Kīlauea. We really appreciated the list of recommended restaurants in town - The Dolphin was by far our favorite one! It was great to have the local market across the street. We also enjoyed the quick drive to Hanalei Colony for massages. If considering a visit - definitely book your time in Napali coast 30 days in advance, unfortunately the access is really controlled at this point and we were unfortunately not able to visit the park. Thanks for everything - our stay was great!
