The cabin was very clean and the hosts were great people and very helpful when needed. I went there on a quick getaway for my wife and I and we loved it all! We especially enjoyed the outdoor amenities, with the fire pit and hot tub right on the river, in view of the lock -- and under the stars. "It was a fun little cabin! It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We were greeted by cows for coffee in the morning and enjoying fire at night. We enjoyed being off the beaten path and yet still close to Gelena. If you want privacy and a little adventure, this is the spot!"

"Ensure you have AWD or 4WD and good tires. It’s a 10 miles drive on a very muddy/gravel, low maintained road with lots of holes. There were several times my van almost got stuck and I was sliding all over the road. "We were greeted warmly at check-in and check out. Hotel is very clean and felt safe. The only complaint is the built for toddlers toilet. Why do hotels use these ultra short round toilets??? Breakfast was good and served hot. The breakfast attendant worked very hard to keep everything full and cleaned up. In my opinion she was very overworked. "
