Peaceful getaway
This property is amazing. The views can't be beat. We watched bald eagles and osprey every day. Every detail on this property has been carefully thought out, inside and out. Owners are extremely responsive and neighbors are friendly. We will be staying again!

Girls weekend for lifelong friends
The house was perfect for our gathering, comfortable well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Super clean, loved the steam shower and tub. Our group all voted to definitely stay here again, thank you!

Great view, comfy and cozy
The house was cozy and the view awesome. The master bedroom and bath were large , comfortable and awesome. Master shower was very nice. One other queen bedroom in main part of house. Lots of room to spread out in garage with couches and tv. The other bedrooms are upstairs thru garage. They are cozy and comfortable. Kitchen has everything we needed. The grounds are lovely watched the moon rise each morning.

Spectacular view!
I really love this house! The beds were comfortable, everyone agreed on that, the view is spectacular, and we just enjoyed the spot. I wish we had spent more time at the house. The only downside was the trip to and from the airport. The house is a good distance from everything my friends wanted to do as their first time visiting but that is on me for not checking out the distance first. Next time we rent this exceptional home we will spend more time at the house!

Perfect weekend retreat
This property was perfect for our 4 adult couples for a Kingston House (18 min drive) wedding weekend. The house and property with an amazing view felt like a retreat. A perfect place to get-away and relax between wedding events. The kitchen, main room and master suite are top-notch.

Wonderful Retreat
Beautiful and comfortable home with outstanding views from both the house and the extensive yard overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. The home had everything we needed and was clean and homey. The master suite is amazing. Great communication with the owners as well. Highly recommend this place for getting away to nature while being close to ferries.

Vast Views & Boundless Tranquility
My friends and I meet once a year for a girls trip. This year we wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful. This was exactly what we got. We went to the light house and walked around the beach. It was amazing. If our kids were older it would have been even better! The owners were easily accessible and provided some treats which left us pleasant surprised! The house is as clean, light, open concept, and also cozy all at once. We went the leaves started turning so it was picturesque! I highly recommend it!

Incredible!
The property is exactly as listed and pictured and even more. The constantly changing views are spectacular and visible from the fantastic huge windows. Exploring the shoreline just below the house is worth the trip down the steep slope. Your every needs are met in the house from the steam room to the abundant supply of bath towels to a well stocked kitchen with condiments and especially coffee. It is truly a memorable experience and location.

Beautiful views with very spacious house
Our family from KC absolutely loved this house. Beautiful tall trees and views of the Olympia Mountains. The outside area was so large and many areas in which to sit and relax. The decks, fire pit, edge of property. You can even walk down to the waters edge to walk the shoreline. Pretty steep but worth the effort. The inside of the house was large with a bonus tv room in the garage which was perfect for our family of 6 and a 15 month old. He loved walking the grounds! The house was stocked with many things you would need for cooking, as we ate our dinners at home. Grill worked well. We truly felt like this could of been our house. We loved the primary bedroom views and the lovely shower! I would recommend.

Long weekend with peaceful view.
Beautiful home peaceful and clean. Had a great long weekend stay. No issues to speak of. Host was available and prompt for any concerns. Loved the small deck off the master and the view. You may rethink staying here if you have small children, or just be aware the steps may be precarious and far off from the main area of the house (garage attic loft with beds and stairs into laundry room) there is a murphy bed downstairs available as a backup (we didn't use it- but knew it was there). Night lights are needed in the loft and in the home. Beautiful house.

Gem with a view
This house was by far our favorite over the last 15 years that we have been spending Labor Day weekend in Hansville. It was comfortable, welcoming and well-appointed, with plenty of towels and a very well-stocked kitchen. We loved hanging out in the yard, playing games and looking at the amazing view. The property is absolutely gorgeous. We will be back!

This property is amazing. Access to upper story bedrooms could be an issue for young children but there is plenty of options for adjusting. This home exceeded our expectations by a mile. So beautiful and comfortable!

It doesn’t get better!!
We were in touch with the owners about a month prior to arriving and they are the most amazing hosts! We had some special asks and asked a lot of questions, they responded quickly and granted every ask to make our stay the best ever! Our 1 year old grandson had so much fun crawling the property and the family of (9) enjoyed the beach to the fullest, collecting shells and exploring the sea creature in abundance. We didn’t need for anything the whole 3 days. The house has everything you could possibly want or need for vacation. Rhonda’s decor is so peaceful and accommodating to everyone. The fire pit is large with plenty of room to gather around for marshmallows. The deep jetted tub and steam shower was amazing for my husband and I. We got married here on May 1st. This was our dream location, with the ocean below us, the beautiful scenery around us and the blue sky’s above us, this property will be forever in our hearts. Eagles even flew over often and during our ceremony. We will be raving about the time spent here for years to come.

Perfect for girls weekend away
We were 3 moms with 4 kids. The house was beautiful and the kids thought their room upstairs was great. Be aware that one of the bedrooms and the kids room are in the finished attic space. The property and the beach were really amazing. We enjoyed the views and the fire pit. We could have stayed for a lot longer! Looks like the owners are building a guest house on the property and there is room in the garage for a kids/game space, so hopefully that will be coming in the future. It is a truly great house on an amazing beach! Bring rainboots!

Great get away.
Clean, open, relaxing contemporary home met all our expectations and then some. The property is a perfect blend of privacy with open views. A slice of heaven no doubt. The interior amenities were perfect and we felt we had everything we could ever need. We even cooked a meal from scratch and the steam shower alone should command a muti paragraph rave. We can't wait to come back!

Dreamy small October covid wedding
We rented Rhonda and Louis place for a small October covid wedding, and could not have been happier with it. The house was a perfect size for the six of us there for the weekend, and the property is a gorgeous spot for a wedding with a cliff overlooking the Olympics and the Hood Canal. The internet/phone signal was good enough that we could tether from our phones for about 75 guests over Zoom, and we have gotten feedback about how beautiful the view was from multiple people who were just there online. The master suite gave us a nice spot to get ready, and made the extra day that we stayed after our guests left feel like we were on a far-away honeymoon. Rhonda was very communicative and helpful as well, even letting us come out to see the property before our stay so we could plan the ceremony more easily. Could not recommend this spot more for an event like this.

Great place!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. Great location and beautiful scenery. The home is very cozy and welcoming. The home was clean prior to arrival and had everything we needed. The kitchen had every utensil needed. We loved the steam shower in the master bath. The property owners were quick with responses to my questions. We had an issue with the water heater for upstairs the first night. I contacted them that night and they had a plumber out first thing the next morning. The issue was resolved. If we return to this area in the near future, we will be back to stay in this house.
