「I truly enjoyed my time at Mandala Springs Wellness Retreat Center. The environment is peaceful, quiet, and deeply relaxing—perfect for anyone looking to slow down and reconnect with themselves. The surrounding hiking trails are absolutely beautiful, with scenic views everywhere you go. It’s a wonderful place for meditation, reflection, and simply being present in nature. If you’re looking to step away from the noise of daily life and find a sense of calm, this is a perfect retreat. I left...

「At 4am the tenant from the connected house(which we didn't know about) was blaring on her hornin the road out front yelling to move out vehicles. She threatened to tow our vehicles and block us in. The night before, I tried to contact the host to find out where we were supposed to park. And he never got back to us. There was hair on the wall and the bathroom and one of the coffee cups and drinking glass had grime and coffee all over it. The blanket that was draped over the back of the couch...

「What a dreamy place to stay. I love the cottages! Great big bath, excellent showers and comfortable beds. Imagine a place run by smart people who anticipate your every need. A yoga pad because your back is stiff from driving up the PCH, fluffy robes for when you leave the jacuzzi bath, front porch chairs to sit while enjoying the morning coffee they supply. Front desk people were wonderful and were great at communication. From the cottage you can easily walk downtown to shop and eat, though many...

「If it weren’t for the kindness of the host, who accommodated us for an early check-in and late checkout, I would’ve given this zero stars. It’s totally rundown, looks like it hasn’t been power washed in 20 years, as soon as you walk up it smells like mold. The listing doesn’t tell you that it’s on a main street. The inside has rotting walls with actual holes, you can smell the mold and in one of the bedrooms it smelled so toxic like cat urine and chemicals - no one could sleep in there. The...

「The pros are that the lake house is pretty much as described. It was lovely to hear the waves crashing against the wall. It was really neat to see the deer come down the hill. The cons are that the adult kayaks were not here, the lake is so consumed with algae we weren’t able to go into the lake. The grills were so dirty that we were not able to use them. It was a lovely day however I feel like we overpaid for the experience. The host was kind and responsive.」

「We had a wonderful one-night stay at this waterfront home. The location is unbeatable: right on the lake with mountain views and a private dock, and it made a perfect home base for a show at Cache Creek Winery. The host was excellent, quick to respond with clear check-in instructions, and the place was spotless when we arrived. Comfortable beds, everything we needed for the weekend, and easy to find. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Clear Lake.」
