A few constructive criticism comments would make the stay perfect! we didn’t get checkin instructions so had to sit in driveway for 30 min calling and texting the homeowners to get code. The basement had a very strong chemical smell (recently cleaned carpets?) so we didn’t use the Bsmt bedrooms. No garbage bags or toilet paper but they dropped some off after requesting. It's a bit of a distance away from Bar Harbor and the main entrance to Acadia, but you won't find any listing like this on Mt Desert Island, so we didn't mind the drive to get to the places we wanted to visit. It's a fabulous place to come home to after a long day of exploring Acadia. "
