This three-story waterfront home sits directly on Back Sound, offering panoramic water views and a front-row seat to the iconic Cape Lookout Lighthouse, visible on the horizon.

Sleeping arrangements:
Second floor: Two cozy sleeping spaces, including the stunning primary bedroom with a queen bed, a water view and a bunk room with full bunks top and bottom and a water view, too!
Third floor: Large great room with a full and a twin bed, offering breathtaking sunset and night sky views over the sound.

Outdoor Highlights:
Spacious porch & picnic table: Enjoy the unbeatable fresh coastal air and stunning sunsets.
Fully enclosed front yard, perfect for your pup— or two!

Dock: Launch a kayak, or simply relax by the water.

Your furry friends are welcome! $20/night/dog. Reach out for pet approval and to add the fees to your reservation.

PLEASE NOTE:
The dock has limited water depth at low tide and the boat lift is not available for guests. For launching your boat, Cape Point Marina is just half a mile down the road and offers convenient access to the water.

Again, the BOAT LIFT IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR GUEST USE. Guests who use the boat lift will incur a $1000 FEE and a lifetime ban from the property.

* The dock and driveway are shared with the kind couple next door—it’s a cozy coastal setup!

For security purposes, this property is equipped with a Ring Doorbell camera at the front and a second camera on the back balcony facing the sound. Both are video-only—no audio recording.

Beautiful view of the cape.

Beautiful view of the cape! Water shores are a must but great amenities for families who enjoy fishing and kayaking. Kitchen had everything you could ask for! Cons: Wi-Fi didn’t work all week despite troubleshooting with property manager, neighbor that doesn’t share a driveway immediately asked us when we were leaving, fire ants were all along interior aspect of back door and in one of the chairs upon arrival and no vacuum on site. Additionally, master bedroom matress was very springy and sagged in the middle. Advice for young families: take 2 baby gates with you. Parking is VERY limited.
