「This place exceeded my expectations! It was absolutely stunning pulling up to it and the barn next door. The house was stocked with everything we needed plus extras (the muffins were to die for!!!) We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, listening to the cicadas and birds. It was exactly the relaxing, unplugged getaway we were looking for. Doug and Jenn were amazing hosts and called to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything — they even called on the day we left to check in with us...

「The listing on vrbo made it sound like it had a bathroom. The bathroom was an outhouse, or we could hike to a bathroom. The bed appeared smaller than a queen, but it barely fit in the A-frame. We could not stand up straight when trying to move on either side of the bed. Also, the mattress was worn out, saggy and uncomfortable. We had paid for 2 nights but ended up checking out early, only stayed one. There was an envelope to tip housekeeping, but I had to sweep the deck and clean spider webs...

「Sarah and Nick are hands-down the best hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. They are incredibly communicative, kind, and responsive from the very beginning. When I arrived, a storm had knocked out the power on my first day. Nick immediately came over, set up a generator so I wouldn’t be without electricity, and even brought me a whole carton of water. Their level of care and quick problem-solving went way above and beyond anything I’ve experienced before. The cabin was perfect for me...
