"This was one of the best Inn's I've stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, bright and exactly as in the photos. The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. I would highly recommend and I'm already try to plan another trip there."

"We had a gorgeous stay at Bridge Cottage, such a welcome pitstop if you're walking the South Downs Way or visiting the local area. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, Miranda is a wonderful host and the location is perfect to enjoy some of the local pubs. We'd highly recommend and will be back! "

"Great place to stay, near the town centre. Has a gym if that’s your thing. Didn’t bother with food as explored the town for food instead. Room clean with everything you need for a good nights stay. Staff friendly. Only complaint was that the music from the gym was v loud & could be heard in the hotel room from 9 am. "
"What an absolutely amazing place to stay the staff went above and beyond my expectations the room was clean and comfortable I had a wonderful nights sleep and the breakfast was delicious before my journey home
Thank you to Frankie especially who was extremely helpful and welcoming"
"My husband and I had a two night break at this hotel. It was superb couldn't fault a think. We asked for a quite room as there was a wedding on at the time we were there.
Our room was perfect, had everything you would need, very quite didn't hear a thing from the wedding party at all. We did have a fan in our room which was a godsend.
The only thing missing would have been a small fridge in our room. But not a deal breaker. The grounds are so beautiful enjoyed looking at the chicken & Rooster near the vegetable garden.
We took advantage of the indoor swimming pool & jacuzzi. Lovely stay over all."
"Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious. We had an excellent night's sleep and woke refreshed to enjoy the great English breakfast, included in the price of the hotel. Delicious and varied. The one member of staff on check-in duty, upon our arrival, was very helpful, but more staff were needed to deal with the check-in queue. Parking is available at a discounted price; in the case of our overnight stay, it was 50% cheaper, i.e. £6."
"All the rooms are dog friendly. Comfort cooling a bonus. Have stayed a few times over the last 4 years and have always been made very welcome. Feel safe and comfortable especially when travelling with our dog."
"Hi.
If you are looking for a countryside, quiet, clean place ,this is the right one .
The only downside was ,it was 35 degree hot but no AC ,only 2 small fan was given, For a family room.
Also the man in reception could be a bit more helpfull and polite otherwise I would give them 4 star .
Price realy reasonable."
