Work from Paradise or Enjoy Family Time by the Beach
Imagine waking up to breathtaking ocean views, working remotely with the sound of waves in the background, or spending quality time with your little ones on a peaceful, safe beach. Our oceanfront apartment blends modern, minimalist design with Hawaiian charm, offering the perfect retreat for families with young children and remote workers. High-speed internet, wind-protected workspaces on the lanai, a baby crib, and carefully selected toys are all provided.
A Home Away from Home with Spectacular Views
This is not just a vacation rental – it’s our second home. We have spent years creating a space that is both functional and welcoming, ensuring it meets the needs of families and professionals alike. The lanai offers uninterrupted ocean views, where you can spot whales (in season), monk seals, tropical fish, and the iconic Hawaiian sea turtles that frequent the shoreline. Whether you’re relaxing on the lanai, lounging on the couch, or resting in bed, the stunning scenery is always in sight.
Designed for Families and Remote Workers
Our daughter, who grew up here, has handpicked toys that she happily shares with young guests. A baby crib is available, along with plenty of space for little explorers. Workation guests will feel right at home, as we have designed the apartment to support remote work. There are multiple workspaces both indoors and on the lanai, high-speed internet, and excellent mobile network coverage, thanks to a nearby cell tower. If you’ve ever dreamed of working from the beach, this is the place to do it!
A Safe and Secluded Beach
The beach in front of the apartment is one of the safest and most family-friendly on the island. The water remains shallow for over 100 meters, so adults only reach chest depth at that distance. A protective reef creates calm waters, making it perfect for snorkeling. Since there is no public parking nearby, the beach is primarily used by residents, ensuring a quiet and safe environment.
Sustainable Comfort – Naturally Cool
To support sustainability, our apartment does not have air conditioning. However, its beachfront location ensures a constant breeze, and with open windows, traditional Hawaiian jalousie windows, and a ceiling fan, the temperature remains comfortable year-round. The lanai is designed to be wind-protected, allowing for uninterrupted work or relaxation. Even with the windows closed, the apartment stays peaceful and cool.
Exclusive Access & Community Amenities
The apartment and lanai are exclusively yours, providing a private retreat with direct beach access. Additionally, you’ll have access to:
- Swimming Pool – Ideal for a refreshing dip.
- Picnic Area – Perfect for outdoor meals with a view.
- BBQ Area – Enjoy casual evenings with Hawaiian flavors.
Right across the street, you’ll find a local supermarket with an attached kitchen for quick meals. Several food trucks nearby offer a variety of delicious options, so dining is always easy. For larger shopping trips, the bus provides direct access to Ala Moana Center, Walmart, and Sam’s Club. The bus stop is right outside the building – a great option for budget-conscious travelers. We personally love using it to explore different parts of the island.
Peaceful Stay & Responsible Pest Control
Guests enjoy complete privacy with a hassle-free, contactless check-in via a key box. For urgent matters, a local contact is available, and we are always happy to assist with any questions during your stay.
Due to Hawaii’s tropical climate, regular pest control is essential. A monthly pest control service is conducted, and we appreciate when guests participate to help keep the apartment in top condition.
Additional Information
Security: The building is monitored 24/7 with security cameras in common areas and outdoor spaces. A resident manager or security staff is always on-site.
Convenience: The Hauula shopping center is just a few minutes away by car, offering grocery stores, printing, faxing, and mailing services. The post office is only 10 minutes away.
Laundry: Washing machines and dryers are available on the 4th and 6th floors, payable by cash or the PayRange app.
Beachfront Conditions: Due to the direct oceanfront location, metal items such as mirrors or exhaust fans may develop rust from the salt air. This does not affect maintenance or cleanliness but is an unavoidable result of the tropical climate. For this reason, we have opted not to include a TV – we personally use laptops or tablets for watching movies and shows.
