A short walk leads you to a wooded path and kayak launch with a dock on Clubfoot Creek (Kayaks are available by request). Guests love walking to the dock with a cozy beverage in the brisk morning air or at twilight! You might even try your hand at crabbing or fishing.

If traveling with friends or extended family, take a peek at the neighboring property, The Field House, a bit bigger at around 2600 square feet and oh so wonderful!

Travel a few miles down the road to a ferry that takes you to the charming sailing capital of North Carolina — Oriental. In fifteen minutes, you can be in Beaufort, shopping, dining, or hopping on a ferry to Shackleford Banks or Cape Lookout! A few more minutes, and you’re in Atlantic Beach. The cottage feels out of the way, but in reality, you’re close to it all! And you’ll love coming home after a day of exploring the Crystal Coast to enjoy a more unique side of coastal living.
