"Perfect beachside location, and the pool and poolside bar are excellent. Spacious, comfortable rooms. This was my second time staying at the Berkeley Oceanfront, and I look forward to visiting again!"

"The music at the bar and pool has to be changed. Playing house music during the middle of the day for people older than 30 is like scratching a blackboard. The reason why nobody is ever at the bar is because you have no clue!!! You let kids run the place....How about making the Bar the bar at the Plaza Hotel in 1957.. Play that music with the vibes of the era you will attract people 40-80 who spend money!!!!! The gym is a joke and the water pressure needs to improve..Better towels as well. People are nice..but they need adult supervision.."

"Just needed a place to stay for one night after an international travel, and I'm so grateful for the 24/7 airport shuttle service they provide. When I contacted the hotel before my trip, they responded quickly with helpful information about where to find the shuttle. The front desk staff and our shuttle drivers were all kind. One of the drivers clearly explained how to use the AirTrain at Newark International Airport to get to the different terminals, which was especially helpful. The room was spacious and had the basic amenities we needed, including a hair dryer, mini fridge, and coffee maker. I wish the lighting had been a little brighter, but it wasn't too bad. Breakfast was decent, and my son enjoyed the cheese omelets. Although I stayed in a better version of Hampton Inn in a different state before, considering the price I paid and the convenient, courteous shuttle service, I'd definitely stay here again."
