The fantastic and peaceful atmosphere of this awesome property is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Helper and our cottage has to offer. This Hall-Parlor style house was built in 1903 and is the oldest residential structure still standing in Helper. This listing provides basic accommodations at a very reasonable price point. If you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere.

We stayed here for just one night while passing through on a longer drive, and it was exactly what we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and easy to access, which made our late arrival stress-free. The bed was comfortable, and everything felt well-kept and ready for guests. Would definitely recommend

Clean, pretty house in an excellent location. Manager was responsive. No dishwasher and dishes were not clean. Back yard included a hot tub but not sufficient room for a dog. Despite window box air conditioners the bedroom was hot and the outdoor temp was not that high. Helper was great.

The beds had no mattress protection, so I had to sleep on the couch. The laundry room was full of dirty laundry and trash. The door to the backyard was padlocked from the outside and the windows sealed shut. In case of a fire only one way out of the house. The kitchen was remodeled nicely, but the kitchen chairs were worn and dirty, not able to sit on. The bathroom was the nicest part of the home. It was storming, the lights flickered on and off and we could find no candles or flashlight. Safety and clean protected beds are important. I have pictures if you would like to see them.
