「Great pub with comfortable rooms. Tasty breakfast」

「Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. 「Had a wonderful three-night stay at The Gin Trap Inn during May 2025. We stayed in The Stables room with our young dog - it was her first trip away so she was a bit excited and nervous, which she demonstrated by barking more than she should ! 「The room looked ok but on closer inspection not so good! Bathroom had mould in the tile grout in the shower and the remaining bathroom was bare plaster. The toilet seat was not attached properly. The bathroom had some sort of sewage maceration system that would go off every hour throughout the night! Nobody knew how the tv worked!! Four remotes for 1 tv!!
