It was the first time we booked a room at the Kanuga Inn & Lodging. The room was simple and well maintained. The location is amazing for relaxing, proposing many options for enjoying Mother Nature. The Kanuga crew is very kind. The restaurent was amazing. No need to drive to town. We will return at the Kanuga for the fall to enjoy the tree color change.

Whether by design or a future commodity they plan to implement, it should be noted that there are no televisions in the rooms. There is, however, a community television at the end of the halls. Normally this would not be an issue thanks to WiFi, but their WiFi would only connect to one device at a time and each time we would use the WiFi on another device, it would boot the previous device.
Overall, the stay was pleasant and you can tell they take great pride in their establishment. The staff was very helpful and provided us with things to do with our little one.

Definitely a great location if you like being in nature, and staff were helpful, however there were multiple issues with this stay. The main one being mold all over the ceiling. The second being there is no TV, no room phone, and the walls are paper thin. We were up all night because we could hear our neighbors entire conversation like they were in the same room as us.

It is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Clean, very nice breakfast setup, has hiking and biking trails along with other things. Close to a nice area with unique shops and restaurants. This place from my understanding use to be closed to the public by now open to everyone. Once the repair on the dam is repair on the lake we will be back. We had only booked for one night and so sad we had to leave.

The Kanuga is a very quiet place to go on vacation it has a good breakfast…included…clean rooms on a great property close to downtown Hendersonville….they don’t have tv’s in the rooms but there are in common spaces

Nowhere on their website did they mention the lake had no water. They were also doing repairs so the walls had exposed wires. The bathrooms are reminiscent of a hospital bathroom. The rooms are poorly lit with no tv. Lots of history in the buildings just very dated rooms. The breakfast was really great.

Loved entire place. Issues with lake damn so wasn't able to see lake with water but understood why. Breakfast was perfect. Didn't like that they didn't have dinner. Not enough guest is why I was told. Had to travel more for food. Highly recommend.
