Friendly welcome and helpful info on local area to spot whales and where to eat. Room was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed. Secure parking was a bonus. Highly recommended

Very good location, lovely hostess and delicious breakfast. The only thing that needs to be improved is in the cold season (we were there in winter) the heating in the bathroom would be useful.

We had a great stay at Baleia Guesthouse. Breakfast was very nice with your choice of warm food. Rooms were good and we stayed in a family room. Lots of space and nice beds. Pool area was cozy with a small pool and sun beds around. Perfect for family. My son loved their friendly dog Joey :) Thanks for a great stay!

A Very Easy to find Place

Baleia was easy to find as it was metres off the main road into Hermanus. Very secure parking and easy to access/exit on foot or by car. Characterful rooms - many set around a small courtyard with small pool. Host and staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Value for money.

We had a very comfortable stay at Baleia, from location to breakfast it all contributed to an overall excellent choice. The only downside for us traveling with expensive equipment was that the door lock to the room was very flimsy, but we had no issues.

This is NOT a 4 star accommodation ! Rooms are old and need a huge update. Breakfast is poor, Sorry, we are no spoiled travellers, but this is not really reality compared to the reviews and foto’s as shown. I would barely give a 5/10 and that is because it is on walking distance to the centre and the car parking is closed by a gate.

Gemütliches und großzügig geschnittenes Zimmer und Bad. Der Frühstücksraum war nett eingerichtet und es gab alles was man brauchte. Wir buchten diese Unterkunft spontan am selben Tag für eine Nacht und erhielten eine Unterkunft zu einer super Preis-Leistung. Empfehlen wir gerne weiter.

Very good location - a short walk from the town where there are multiple restaurants. Very helpful owners who gave good tips and a useful map. Very nice room set around an attractive courtyard with small pool (which we didn't use). Great breakfast.
