Beautiful quaint guest house run by the loveliest couple Stefan and Nikki! Truly every detail is thought of - heated pool, heating blankets to warm up beds, fantastic breakfast (thanks Louisa!), easy in and out access. They clearly love running a guest house, and it was a privilege to stay there. Highly recommend!!

We had a brilliant stay here. The owners were lovely and very helpful, giving us great recommendations on where to go in Hermanus and also for our next stop. The location was brilliant, with lots within walking distance. The room was also very comfortable and clean. As a bonus the breakfast was great, with lots of choice and very tasty!

Our stay at The Penguino was absolutely wonderful. Our hosts were warm, engaging, and full of good humour — they made us feel instantly welcome and shared lots of great local tips. The accommodations were spotless and beautifully maintained, and the breakfast was nothing short of exceptional — easily the best we had during our vacation. We couldn’t recommend The Penguino more highly!
