"Very good option for a budget motel. Clean, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. Like all at this very low price point, there's some wear and tear, but they try very hard and do many small things better than expensive hotels. Breakfast is minimal, but adequate and better than some other extremely low-cost places. Wi-fi not so good, but you can't expect everything at this price."

"Overall a very pleasant stay. Check-in was a simple process. Our group of 10 had plenty of room to spread out and plenty of room to gather in the large living room area. The kitchen was spacious and well appointed (extra points for having both Keurig-style and a regular drip coffee makers!). Communication with the owner was generally good, except when she was briefly out of the country for professional business reasons. Unfortunately the air-conditioning was not working properly, but after the second night the outdoor temperatures cooled enough to provide a pleasant breeze with the windows open. The resort has a wonderful play area for children as well as some wonderful pools attended by professional lifeguards.Be sure and stock up on groceries before you arrive, as the nearest "real" grocery store is almost 30 minutes away in Somerset. "

"A group of us stayed here when we attended a Pearl Jam concert in Pittsburgh.Condo was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. We even used the Scrabble board that was provided.Condo is just about an hour from Pittsburgh, and while we were in the area, we visited the Flight 93 Memorial, the Falling Water House, and a local winery.Would definitely consider coming back to the same unto for ski season. Unit had everything we needed and everyone was happy."
"We were desperate for a quick peaceful getaway and we found a perfect refuge at Fred's spot in Hidden Valley. Fred was extremely communicative and flexible with check in and out. The lodging is so convenient to slopes and hiking. He provided great recommendations for restaurants and the hidden gem fruit market in town- a must visit. The place is well-stocked and so cozy. We will definitely return! Thanks, Fred!"

"We loved our long weekend at Mountain Memories! The snow fell, and the skiing at Hidden Valley just steps from the door was perfect for our multi-family group! We parked our cars for the weekend and could access anything we needed on Skis! The house was spotless upon arrival and had everything we needed - towels, sheets, kitchen supplies. The ski room was a great space to keep all our gear with plenty of benches, hooks and dryers for our gear. The two living spaces were a bonus so the older kids had their own space to chill on the lower level, while the adults and littles hung out in the main living space with the beautiful two story windows looking out at the snowy woods. We loved our stay and look forward to returning next winter! "
