"I never got a chance to stay here as it is usually fully-booked but I got lucky. Very clean and comfortable and the breakfast has a nice selection of tasty foods and quite good coffee. The onsen bath feels so good after a long day. I would definitely stay here again. "

Easily walk-able to local restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Note that certain amenities are not included (razors, toothbrush) so bringing one is important. "This place was amazing - pretty much a fabulous sushimi restaurant with a guesthouse on top. We (family of 5) had the run of the place and were treated to exceptional dinners and breakfast everyday. The owner even took us out one night with kitchen leftovers so the kids could feed the local deer. If you stay here, come hungry to every dinner!"
