"Our room had a very nice view of Mt. Fuji. The hotel is quiet but can hear train passing constantly from around 5am till shortly past midnight. It did not disrupt my sleep much but you will hear it while sleeping. "

"I did not hear any train sounds at all. Super quiet and clean. Everything is within a few minutes walking distance. Room is small for US standard but is typical for Japanese this type of hotels. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is designed well with a nice size deep tub. "

"Beautiful new, modern hotel with a zen like vibe. Add the breakfast with your stay, worth the few yen more, served to order, not a cattle line buffett. Excellent staff service, genuinely friendly and well trained. Great location with near by shopping and terrific restaurants. Will definitely be back and highly recommended. "

"The lake and mountain views were worth the price alone. The Ryokan itself is very beautiful and traditional, the tatami and sliding paper doors made it feel like we had gone back in time. The onsen is nice and note that it is for separate male and female, so if you want to share the experience with family or partner you may not be able to. The restaurant was great with good service and meal options. The staff were so attentive and looked after us well. Small criticism was the room had a few stains on cupboards and floors, and the shower hose had a small hole which leaked onto the floor when showering. Overall a good experience and would recommend."
