“Great rooms on a beautiful river. They should let travelers know the restaurant isn’t open. Not very good bank access for fishing as the docks were under construction. The pool was nice and the charcoal grills worked great.”

“We stay here just about every summer. Sometimes we book a cabin instead, but we enjoy our stays here. This year it wasn’t quite as clean & there’s a mold issue. Never had this problem in the past. The mold issue is surely caused by guests getting the carpet wet. It would be ideal for the owner to switch to hard floors so people aren’t getting sick. I’m extremely allergic to it so I had awful allergy issues the whole time. I did ask about a cleaner room but he said all the rooms have mold because……

“After checking in I parked and noticed cigarette butts in front of the doorway, maybe 7-10. I got in the room and pulled the comforter back to sit on the bed and immediately noticed that the sheets had not been changed. I pulled the top sheet back and there was a drop of bright red blood on the bottom sheet. “Thankful that I could book at the last minute for a group of 5. The check in experience was great. We arrived late (4am) and were able to get right in via an electronic door code. The beds were absolute heaven! Everyone in my group agreed. Best nights sleep I’ve had in months! I was pleasantly surprised to find enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc to last our entire stay. Usually rentals just give you one roll and you have to supply the rest. There were plenty of towels, blankets……
