“Simply put, we loved it! My wife and I travel the country, living in vacation rentals. This property was the best we have experienced. From the unbelievably stocked kitchen, to the air hockey table in the basement, to the electric fireplace, to the rustic surroundings, this place was "the bomb."While there were two bedrooms, a living area and a full bathroom downstairs, we didn't use them because there was so much room in the upstairs. The bed was terrific, the very large TV worked like a charm,……

“We had a wonderful 5-day getaway at the River Perch! The three kids spent hours on the river each day, we went tubing and kayaking, we got to see our dog enjoy her first real swims, and then we got to relax in the very cozy, very clean house with the beautiful front porch view of the Cacapon. Glenn made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for a trip away!”

“We stayed for a long weekend following Christmas - needed to get away from the city for a bit. It's a beautiful house with a great view and good location. It was just 3 of us so the space was fine -- I am not sure I would recommend it for a larger group in winter, as you'd really be on top of each other. For the other three seasons, the deck, hot-tub, and firepit would all be great ways to spread out. Would definitely love to go back sometime in the future!”
