「The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. 」

「Traditional pub building in the middle of a village. The bar was full of local people having a good time but no noise made it through to the bedroom due to very thick walls. 「Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! We will be returning again in the future.」

「Stephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there. Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day. Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside. A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying...

「This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot...
