This Rent In Highlands vacation rental home is pet friendly for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet  fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $1000.00 fine.

Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.

This charming cottage, just a short five-minute drive from downtown Highlands and fifteen minutes from Cashiers, sits amid the trees in a private neighborhood. The property is a certified Audubon Bird Sanctuary.

Inside, the vaulted great room is a comfy gathering place with a stone fireplace (propane fired logs) and views of the surrounding landscape through floor-to-ceiling windows and doors. Beautifully decorated bedrooms with adjoining baths offer a relaxing retreat after a day of hiking or shopping. Great room and bedrooms have access to the large deck with views of Sparkling Lake.

In the kitchen, you’ll find a professional grade stove to delight your inner chef. Numerous works of art adorn the walls complimenting the mountain charm.

Outdoor Spaces:
At the back of the house, a spacious deck stretches out, offering the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. Two tables provide ample space for outdoor dining or simply unwinding with a good book. Both bedrooms feature private access to the deck, allowing you to step outside and take in the fresh air whenever you please.
