Not a good place to stay
I can only talk about my unit....13b, 15 Lonely Mt Dr. Arrived to find the a/c not turned on. It was warm and very humid. I turned on the a/c, but it wouldn't blow cold air...very slightly cool. The temp was 74. It took until midnight to reach 72 and we arrived at around 4. So it was unpleasant. It would not go below 72. The a/c filter was very dirty. So it hadn't been exchanged for a long time. Fortunately there was a new one in the unit, so I switched the old one out. I tried to wash clothes. The washer started knocking very loudly like it was about to tear up. I let it keep going. When it went to spin, the sound dropped. Very annoying. I texted the owner with my concerns for the a/c and washer. He said to open the windows on the second floor so the heat would go out. He said he would have some one come out to check on the a/c and washer. If it wasn't for a small fan upstairs on the dresser that we ran full speed pointed at us in the bed, we would not have been able to sleep well. We took a shower and in the morning, the towels were still wet as if we had just used them. So that was how much humidity was in there inspite of the air. It made things a little better, but it was still humid in the unit. It's a rain forest and it rained a lot of the time, so a good working a/c is important. The next day no one showed up to check on anything. Later that evening I texted the owner who said no was able to come out. No one ever showed up. Many other issues. We left a day early.
