Welcome to the Lake House! Our home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests. Recently built on the Mirror Lake and and not far from the downtown Highlands. If you enjoy a walk alongside the lake and quiet evenings around the fire pit, then this it the place to stay.

This was the most comfortable VRBO homes that we have visited. We were there 6 nights. The kitchen was exceptional equip. We would definitely return. 5 to 7 minutes from downtown Highlands, a peaceful location. The bedrooms were well set up and comfortable.

Our stay was wonderful. The home is peaceful and beautifully maintained. The fireplace quickly became my favorite feature—it added such warmth and charm. Perfect all around

This is a beautiful house and very comfortable. The location is close enough to Highlands that you do not need to plan trips into town-just go as you like. Far enough from Highlands that it is as quiet as anyone can want. Recommended all around.

Second stay as great as the first

This was our second stay here, and we love it. It was a difficult time as we were arriving the week after Hurricane Helene. The host was very helpful in addressing any concerns we had about visiting, including updates on road statuses coming into Highlands. The house is perfect for families, and a very easy location to downtown. We will continue to stay here any time the house is available for future trips.

Perfect Getaway

The house is about 5 minutes from the Highlands main street which is great. We had four adults who stayed, and the house was very comfortable. The owners provided wood so we had a nice fire in the fireplace.
