The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. Those are the most important things to me. They're pet friendly which is a bonus if you're traveling with your pet. The breakfast was was included and probably just average. I'm not a big breakfast person so not important to me. But the main thing that stuck out was the cleanliness of the hotel. I would recommend it!

Upon check in the office staff said that I didn’t have a room. They canceled my stay because I hadn’t prepaid. Luckily they still had 1 room left. We were in town for a funeral for a few days. Breakfast was fresh each morning. Pool was so cloudy you couldn’t see the bottom. The room itself was pretty clean.

A really GREAT unit. Every single staff person that we interacted with was polite, caring, RESPONSIBLE...and in some cases quite funny. Our rooms, were as clean as a hospital...as was the breakfast area. Check in was quick and pleasant (nice because we were tired...and it WAS noticed.) We had multiple rooms and it was a perfect stay. A tad pricey, but of course I knew THAT when I booked it. I honestly don't like to recommend, but I would highly recommend the Washington Courthouse Holiday Inn Express.

The room was clean but there was an unclean smell in the room. I brought a service pet, so my guess was that I was placed in a room that had a pet owner in there before. The carpet and the chair in the room had stains. I had stayed in this hotel many times and had always been placed in a freshly clean smelling room. Not sure what happened this time, but next time I'll be sure to bring it up. The staff is really good about addressing concerns right away. I just didn't have time to address it and was too tired from my long drive.
