Adorable cottage in a park-like setting located at Do Drop Inn Cabin Rentals adjoining the Blue Ridge Parkway. Two miles from Fancy Gap restaurant and shops. Nearby is Blue Ridge Music Center, Mabry Mill, New River Trail Park, Doughton Park and Mt. Airy N. C. This great little getaway features one bedroom with a full bed and one bathroom w/ shower. Small kitchen a front porch that was built to make you relax with a stream running by that makes for an affordable cozy getaway! Local TV reception in the unit. Cabin features two fans No Air Conditioning .Creek Side is like being in your on nature preserve with pristine landscaping, outdoor grills and walking trail.

Damage Charges: The vacation cabin will be inspected after each tenant’s departure. If damages other than normal ware and tear are found, you will be notified immediately of the costs for resolving them. These costs may include, but are not limited to, charges for repairs, concealed pets, or in-cabin smoking, etc. LIMIT 7 NIGHT STAY.

Mountain cabin delight

The stay here was excellent, cozy cabin tucked in the woods. Quiet and quaint with a stream of the front porch. Hiking trails on the property with well placed decor. Management was friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle of city life.

Nestled in the Forest

We were impressed with the immaculate condition of the cabin and the grounds. The location was private and cozy. A complete sense of rest fell onto us during our stay. The owner was so kind and thoughtful. While we did walk the property and found hidden spots to enjoy, it was difficult to leave the cabin and the charming front porch. The musical spring/creek lulled us with its peacefulness. We happily look forward to our next stay.

Mini vacation

We absolutely loved the quaint cabin tucked into the woods. We felt comfortable and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The hosts were attentive to us and were understanding when we were late arriving. Hospitality was exceptional!! The only small issue we had, was the walk to the cabin from the parking area. No fault of the hosts, but it was hard on my partner who has difficulty walking. Carrying our things to the cabin made for many walks back and forth. We remedied that issue by purchasing a cart to haul our luggage and items to the car. We both agreed that if the hosts were to have a golf cart available to rent it would be an asset to comfortably staying there, and would probably pay for itself in no time. Other than that... (which was just a small issue to us).... it was a wonderful stay and we loved everything about the cabin!! Thank you for making our stay a memorable one! We needed it!!

Creekside Cabin

The sweetest little cabin neatly tucked away into a private, wooded spot among the rhododendrons on a hillside in the mountains, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hosts Susie & William are absolutely wonderful, and will greet you with yummy carrot cake! Nice walking trails through the property! You will leave with new friends.

Cozy Woodland Bliss

The hostess greeted us with help to carry our bags down to the doorstep via her jolly golf cart! She welcomed us further with carrot cake! The Do Drop Inn was very clean, well appointed and very, very cozy. It was complete with a gazebo, fire ring, trail, firewood, and a stream running in front of the cabin. Idyllic!

Creekside cabin at do drop inn

My wife and I spent our 1 year anniversary at creekside cabin. The owners very respectful, kind and even brought us a slice of homemade carrot cake. This cabin was tucked away next to a trickling creek providing very mind soothing sounds. Wildlife present on a the walking path around the property. Would definetly recommend this place to anyone looking to be one with nature for a bit and escape reality. Would give more than 5 stars if i could!!

Awesome little cabin in the woods

The property was very clean and well maintained. The cabin is very small and cozy. No Internet or cell service so it made it even better to spend time together. The owner greeted us and was super nice. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I love camping, my wife does not. So this cabin with the windows open in July was the perfect compromise! The property was well designed, we loved the walking paths and wildlife everywhere. No AC concerned us going in, but the nights were cool enough that we needed extra blankets. Private feel and everything you need. We will be back.

What a delight!

This adorable cabin was so cozy, and the privacy was fantastic. The scenery was like a dream. We met Susie shortly after arriving, and she was so kind and helpful to us. I was worried about staying somewhere in Virginia in June that didn’t have AC, but the shade and cool mountain breeze at night kept us at the perfect temperature. I can tell William and Susie have put their heart and soul into maintaining this gorgeous property. I can’t wait to go back, so if you’re thinking of staying here then do it! You’ll be the lucky one :)
