Welcome to Starry Snug — your dreamy, romantic escape tucked beneath the stars. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with your loved one or simply savor some peaceful time with your furry companion, this cozy little haven is designed to make you feel right at home — and a little in love.
Step inside and let comfort wrap around you. The living room offers a full-size space to unwind, complete with a large smart TV and lightning-fast WiFi — perfect for movie nights in each other’s arms or catching up on your favorite series.
The thoughtfully designed kitchen is just the right size, featuring a full suite of appliances — refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, and dishwasher — making it a joy to cook together, sip wine, and savor simple moments.
Retreat to the luxurious bathroom, where a double-sink vanity and a spacious walk-in shower with three shower heads — including a soothing rain shower — invite you to slow down and relax.
When it’s time to rest, the brand new king-size bed awaits in its own cozy bedroom, complete with storage for your things and a full-size washer and dryer for convenience. Every detail is meant to make your stay feel effortless and special.
Step outside, where romance lingers in the air. Let your pup play freely in the fully fenced backyard while you enjoy a glass of wine by the fire pit. Grill dinner together on the gas grill (we provide the propane!), and savor the evening under a canopy of stars on the private veranda.
Starry Snug is located less than a mile off I-77 (exit 8), right in the heart of Virginia’s Blue Ridge beauty. You’ll be within walking distance of several dining spots and just a short drive from wineries, hiking trails, rivers, and charming mountain towns like Galax and Mount Airy.

While they do not happen often at all sometimes being in the mountains we will loose power or internet. However both of those are out of our control. We do not give refunds for power, weather or internet outages. If there would happen to be a power or internet outage please reach out to us immediately and we will get in touch with the internet and power companies right away.
4x4 is not required to access the property at all except in cases of snow.
While we do our best to inform our guest about upcoming winter weather it is smart to always keep the weather checked while coming to the mountains in the winter. If you would happen to get your vehicle stuck in the snow or ice the guest are responsible for paying a towing company to pull them out. We will gladly give you recommendations on who to use.
