Nice Stay

We enjoyed the location and having the bikes to explore. It was quiet and simple. The only negative was when we walked in, it smelled like a musty basement. Turning the air conditioning down to 70 helped with that, but the first evening was pretty bad. Bad enough that I wasn't sure I could stay there because I felt like I couldn't breathe. But, the air conditioning improved that. However, there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling. I still gave it an overall 4 stars because the situation improved with the air running more. If it had not improved it would have been a nightmare for me and I would have given it 1 star. I think the roof leaked and created the wet ceiling that grew mold. I think that needs to be fixed, the mold removed, and the air handling system cleaned. I am writing this much detail so hopefully the owner and property manager will fix this issue.

Great Location

Great central location. Easy to bike to a lot of places. 10-15 minute drive to most restaurants. 5 minute walk to the beach. Free bikes were a nice touch, as were the beach chairs.

Great Little Condo

Location was a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. We used the bikes everyday so it was nice to have them included. More thorough instructions on how to operate the televisions would have been helpful. Upon our arrival, the front door would not lock properly but we called the property maintenance and they came within half an hour and solved the problem.

Cozy condo

This place is perfect if you’re just looking for a place to stay. It has everything we needed, was clean, and is in a great location. But it is small! Our only complaints are that the bed is very uncomfortable and should be replaced…we both need to go to the chiropractor this week after sleeping on that awful bed for a week. Also, the bathroom sink drains very slowly making it difficult to rinse toothpaste or soap. And the dryer takes forever to dry things. We were missing hand towels and washcloths when we arrived. I called after hours and received almost an immediate response and the towels arrived by the time we returned from dinner. Overall the place is nice as long as you know that it is small.

Outstanding

The entire rental process was very easy and communication was excellent. Any issues were immediately addressed. Very satisfied. Location is perfect, easy access to the beach and Coligny Circle. Ammenuties in the unit were great but the bikes were the best, much appreciated. Unit was clean and comfortable, no complaints at all. BBQ was a bonus, could use new burners but served the purpose. Pool area was well maintained, very nice on sunny afternoon. Definitely recommend this unit and I would stay again.

Couples Getaway

We booked this last minute for our first trip to HH. The price and beach drew us in, but we were pleasantly surprised at how close everything really was! The unit has had some cosmetic updates, but nothing spectacular. If you look closely, there are some issues that need to be addressed, but at that price, I have no complaints. The unit had everything we needed and the bikes were a really nice addition! I don’t know that we would have used them if they weren’t offered and I’m glad we had that experience. A must on the island! The access to the beach…and bathrooms…and coligny were all fantastic. Would go with Island Rentals again in a heartbeat and will seek out some of their other properties next time.

Great location

This condo had everything we needed. Great location and we loved having access to the bikes. This was a great perk. We had a wonderful time and looking forward to coming back to Hilton Head in the future.

Great trip!

The only reason I left four stars for the overall stay is that the washer dryer may need to be repairs or replaced, as it did not really want to dry our clothes. Everything else was wonderful and the short walk to the beach made it even better!

Spring Getaway

My wife and I loved the place. Super easy bike ride across the street and down the path to the beach. Bathrooms available at the beach. The pool is tucked away inside the middle of the complex. Clean. Quiet. Safe. The space is roomy. We would absolutely stay again.

Great fall getaway

We enjoyed our stay on Hilton Head Island. The condo was cozy and inviting. The convenience of walking to the beach and to shopping and entertainments was fantastic. Lovely setting, quiet and tranquil. Would stay again.

Smelled like smoke and mildew. Ceiling had plate size water spot. Water from shower skunked to high heaven and the toilet continued to run intermittently. The pictures on verbo were from 20 years ago. Shame on vrbo for not screening this property out!

Great place for R&R

Older property but nicely refinished, spacious living/dining area & bedroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. Excellent location, right across the street from the beach & there is a nice walk way. The bikes with baskets were awesome, we rode everyday, did all our shopping by bike too. Wonderful little bar on the beach near the Coligny Circle called the Tiki Bar, has live music every day at 1:00, just wonderful.. We would stay here again.

The condo was fantastic!

The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing few days at the beach. We knew to bring our own beach towels but that was really it, everything else was waiting on us. Right in front of the condos is a crosswalk that leads you down your private path to the beach. The restrooms came in handy! It was amazing to have two bikes to use and not have to deal with the hassle of going to rent them. The proximity to Coligny was perfect and we rode our bikes there at least once a day. The grill worked great and we had everything we needed to cook at home, but we also enjoyed meals at nearby restaurants. The mattress could have been a little better, but we have had much worse! We tried contacting Property Management when we got to town to see about early check in but no answer and no response to our voice mail. There was no one at the office and we were told they are very sporadic in being there. We waited until 4 o’clock to go in but would have been nice to hear back from someone. Overall the condo was amazing however.

Great location and updated

The unit is convenient to Coligny, the beach, and sea pines, and has been updated. The complex needs updates, but is great for the price they're asking. I will know better than to book through VRBO because of the extra fees they assess, and because I enjoyed the service I got from Hilton Head island island rentals. They are responsive when the shower head and vacuum didn't work, and the only other maintenance the unit needs is the front door has split where the lock mechanism is and the bathroom exhaust fan barely works. The unit has a nice view of the small, barely used pool and pretty lagoon. The property managers are very responsive. I would definitely stay here again, because of how convenient it is.
