Great access to beach

Loved the condo.. perfect for a small family. It was just as pictured. A big ask would be mosquito abatement around the property/patio. I wanted to enjoy the patio because it offered chairs and tables but the pesky bugs made it so uncomfortable even with bug repellent. Overall, great stay my boys and I would rent this unit again.

Good stay

Overall condo was clean and met our expectations.This was our 3rd time staying at the Island Club and have had no issues and have left satisfied each time . The only complaint I have was that there was a noticeable must smell throughout the condo that did bother me a little. Wasn’t sure if it was from being closed up over the winter or if there were other issues.

Comfortable and clean

Everything was nice. Only complaint would be the remotes for Bosw wave radio and fan in dem didn't work. Also, many of the AC outlets don't work when the light switch in the room is turned off. The bed was comfortable, and the condo was clean, aside from the carpet, which needs to be replaced.

Just Okay

We went down for a quick weekend trip. The club itself was clean and nice! Beach access was awesome! As far as this particular unit, we weren’t super impressed. The flyer we received with our check-in recommended we set the thermostat between 73-75 saying 70 or anything below would likely freeze the unit. Personally I think this should have been mentioned before booking, I don’t do well at night with heat and typically need just a little below 70 but I understand that’s not always possible. It wouldn’t have been an issue had the ceiling fans worked but both sets of fans in the home were very poorly installed and didn’t appear to be wired as they plugged into the wall so just the lights worked. Luckily there was a small fan in the closet we were able to use to cool down a little bit. The tv in the bedroom lost connection at times and it’s an older model so there’s no HDMI port for fire sticks or anything of that nature if you're like us and prefer to lay down and watch tv. We also smelt a little mildew in the room. Additionally, the kitchen utilities weren’t ideal. The sink didn’t smell great, possibly the garbage disposal needed to be emptied, and the only cookie sheet in the home was so rusty I could wipe my fingers to it and it came off, making it unsafe to use. Other than those details, the place was mostly clean from what we could tell and the walk to the beach was not bad at all from where it was located in the club!

Disappointed

Have been coming to the Island Club for a number of years now and have always enjoyed the amenities that the club offers. However, #122 does not live up to the standards that one would expect. The condo is in need of a re-freshening. The carpet in the bedroom is disgusting. There are light bulbs missing in lights, ceramic tile in the kitchen is cracked, needs a complete new paint job. Will visit the Island Club again in the future but will not stay in # 122.

It was very comfortable! Lots of glasses- not that I needed them. Everything was comfortable and lots of space for things. Opening the door was challenging as I did not know to switch the silver dial to the left. But after I figured it out all was good. Would dry stay there again!❤️

Nice but owner needs to update some things.

The unit was very clean when we arrived. A couple of the outlets didn't work. One in the half bath didn't work so everyone had to blow dry hair in the main bath. The pull out couch was awful. The mattress on King bed was very soft. The ceiling fans do not work. Will not be renting this one again.

Comfortable.

This unit is comfortable to stay in: the couch, the bed and bathroom upgrades. It is a downstairs unit, which means the heavy walkers upstairs was sometimes a problem. The refrigerator was noisy sometimes too.

Perfect Condo!

Now that my husband and I have stayed at several rentals, we feel it important to leave a accurate review. This condo was spectacular !! To say the least, it’s location was perfect to the beach, just a short walk. Also, my husband and I are runners and the area surrounding was great for runners and walkers. The furniture was so comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. Which we all know is important for a vacation rental . The area is great as well with tennis courts , pool, hot tub etc .

Love Island Club and unit 122

We have visited the Island Club several times and had another great stay. The grounds and shared areas are extremely well maintained and our unit was clean and comfortable. My husband especially enjoyed the leather chairs with cup holders. We always find the sound of the fountain on the pond extremely relaxing. Great visit overall!
