The condo was roomy for the five of us. However the condo could use a deep cleaning. Daughter found what she thought was a dead roach in her bath tub. Elevator was out of service a couple of days. Loved the access to the beach.

Overall, it’s a great condo. Very convenient location. It definitely should have been cleaner upon arrival. The beach was surprisingly crowded. I didn’t realize it was so close to a public beach access. Great value for the price point.

Great location and rental agency was great

The condo could use a good deep cleaning. It wasn’t as clean as I had hoped. The staff was very responsive and always helpful. Would definitely stay at ocean one again!

HHI Retreat

Great stay and great location of property. The rooms were spacious with easy access to the beach, pool and coligny. There not downside was that the washing machine did not work. We submitted a message about it but did not hear back. Hope our message helps get it fixed for the next guest! Overall, very minor compared to the enjoyment we had.

Disappointed

A number of concerns about the process and the property. 1. As previously raised I was quoted a $ amount in Cdn currency but charged that amount in US currency. VRBO promised me a call back regarding this but they have yet to contact me. This was 2 weeks ago. 2. We waited until after 5 PM at which time I contacted the rental office about the availability of the unit. I was to have been texted as soon as it was available. At that point they told me the unit had been available for some time and gave me the code over the phone. 3. Major construction occurring on the balconies on the pool side of the building. We were not informed of this until after our final payment was processed. I'm sure this work was planned months in advance but we were not advised. It was both noisy and dusty all week. 4. Unit was large and well laid out, and worked well for our family. Of note the ice maker was broken and leaked, the dishwasher doesn't work well, and the living room furniture is very tired and needs replacement. Overall given the price of the unit we were disappointed and felt it was not good value.

Nice overall

It was decent and very roomy and comfortable. Maybe needs some new couches in the future and the washing machine definitely needs cleaned (front loaders gather mold quickly) but we enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed staying here and would stay again if the mattresses are replaced. Communication was great and the property is gorgeous. Location is excellent!

Great location

Exterior/grounds where nice and clean. The unit itself was moderately clean. It could have used a good deep clean, as well as some overall maintenance. This was a 30th anniversary gift trip. Overall we had a good time and our stay was pleasant.

Great vacation

Great vacation, location, condo size. The cleanliness when we got there could use some work, and the family room couch pillows and area rug were off-putting, worn and stained, didn't want to cozy up in there, but an easy fix for the owners.

Great Space close to the Beach & Coligny

Unit was clean & spacious. Well represented in the photos and description. Property Manager was easy to work with and the space & layout of the unit suited our large family well. We will be back!

Icebreaker tournament

What a wonderful place to stay. Was as good as advertised. Only one issue would be if we could check in without stopping into the office. Besides that it was great. Would rent and recommend this place for sure.

Fantastic place to vacation!

We were very satisfied with our recent stay in Ocean One #402. The condo location is amazing.. walking distance to everything, and right on the beach! The grounds were lovely, and everything very clean around the complex. The pool is fantastic - cleaned every morning. And the beach is literally steps away. So great!! There is a fantastic park and playground across the street, lots of bike racks if you plan to rent bikes, and the Coligny shopping center is just an easy walk away. The unit itself is a vacation rental, so is understandably a bit worn. It had everything you need for a family, though. Even a CrockPot! We had lots of room to spread out, the kids enjoyed having a room with twin beds. There are books and board games on the shelves to use, ample kitchen goods, and plenty of towels / linens. We even noticed beach toys in a closet, though didn't use them. And there were baby toys / a pack-n-play supplied, which was a HUGE help for our little guy. The *only* downside with Unit 402 is that it is an end unit, and overlooks the Tiki Bar next door. Because Ocean One has all open air walkways and staircases, sound really travels. The walls and windows are thin, so we heard loud music pretty much consistently. The baby was in the smaller blue room with two twins.. it happens to be closest to the outer walkway, and is the absolute loudest. He managed to sleep through it, but something to consider if you have light sleepers. The rental company was incredible to work with. Very helpful, friendly staff. Super responsive and very great communication. We would definitely stay again!
