Stayed the first week of May 2022. We are very satisfied with the overall experience at 45 Mooring Buoy. They sent all the paper work with the parking passes and door code the week before and it made the arrival easy since we drove straight to the house. The inside was very clean and comfortable. Hint, we did a Kroger click list on the way down and picked up the groceries the first night, very low hassle. The location is nice, right on the Main Street and the beach access path is right across the street, only about a 5 minute walk. The property sits back off the street and has the small dock in the canal, did some fishing but you do need a license. Very quiet and private. My cons are few and didn’t affect much but, they need to be mentioned. The outside of the house needs some work. Everything, from the gutters to the siding, the screened in patio and doors are aging. The sliding door to the patio is old and sticky, definitely needs replaced or fixed. And the pool.... It is not heated from October-May. Not even the hot tub. They will not heat it. During the summer, they will turn on the heat for an up charge. We were a bit disappointed since it was 85 out every day. But the pool was warm enough to swim, o problem. Water temp was mid-80s. The pool was adequate itself but a bit dirty and green, needs a good scrubbing and vacuum. All in all, these were minor to us, maybe why the house was cheaper than others.We did enjoy ourselves, the location is great for access to the beach, driving on and off and walking to the general store, etc. the house was very clean and comfortable on the inside, plenty of appliances, dishes, cooking utensils. Grill worked well for burgers and steaks. Easy check in and out.
