“The refrigerator in the room was not working and had food left in it from previous guests. There was hair on the bed, so the sheets were obviously not fresh. Notifed the staff, who offered us to change to a different room. The room we switched to also had food in the refrigerator, dirty sheets and large areas of paint peeling inside the bathroom. Since we still had keys to the previous room, I took the food over to the first room and left it in the refrigerator with the other garbage/food. ……

“Road to the cabin was deeply rutted/potholed in many places. We felt the on-line listing was not accurate: an updated outhouse is not a bathroom; a sink with a hot plate/no cooking utensils does not make a kitchen/kitchenette. We didn't think the water was potable as it had a brownish tinge, so we had to double back to the truck stop for food and liquids. Night-long noise from I-40 truck traffic was annoying. The cabin was "OK" for watching stars through the ceiling as the glass was obstructed……

“The cabin was clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and cozy couches. The space heaters worked well, the kitchen was fully stocked for our needs, and the hot tub was a plus. Easy check in process, and the host was attentive the communication was good. Overall great stay and we would definitely book again.”
