「Great value, great staff and great breakfast. Was slightly disappointed as we had a couple of issues in the room, which we reported, but nobody came to sort it out.」

「A lovely hotel with many original features. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both. The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices. I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons. It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings. Would very happily stay here again.」

「We stayed in a quad room for £130 per night and were quite disappointed. The photos online made the room look modern and recently updated, but in reality it felt very dated, almost as if it hadn’t been refurbished in decades. The room was also not as clean as expected. One of the biggest issues was the lack of ventilation. The room became very hot, but opening the window-door wasn’t really an option as it allowed insects to come into the room. The roof garden outside also looked neglected and...

「Tout était très bien. Le petit déjeuner à 8h30 débute par contre un peu tard, mais il était délicieux.」

「Amazing place highly recommended, food and restaurant staff just great….. we have enjoyed sauna and morning Yoga was perfect to finish it off our stay.」

「We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was nice and quiet. A fan was available in the room which helped during the heatwave. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No wardrobe but hooks on the wall and hangers for clothes which was ok as we only stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly on arrival and at breakfast. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.」

「Nice clean room and friendly welcome」

「This Little inn above the pub was so charming. The room was fantastic, cozily decorated and had a big window. The weather was perfect, and we were able to have the window open. Caution with the window open, it can be a little noisy from the pub downstairs. But no worries on that. We enjoyed hearing folks having lots of fun! It's also conveniently located and easily walkable to the old town. And of course, gorgeous Beach.」

「服務親切，房間乾淨。雖然住得單人房有點小，但一個人住夠大了。房間面對海岸，風景非常漂亮，而且住得很舒服！」

「Wonderful friendly and attentive staff . Parking easy , excellent food and very comfortable bedroom . Would definitely visit again.」

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」

「Great stay」

「Our room had a very ugly view over the bins and kitchen extractor fans. This created a loud hum until around 10pm and also brought some cooking smells into the room. The walls are also very thin and we could hear the room next door very clearly. However, after midnight the noise died down and it was quiet. The hotel is in a nice, very rural location.」

「The room was nice and big. The staff were friendly. The location was great, near lots of pubs and restaurants. The pub is good too, with friendly people. Not necessarily suited for young children on friday night as the area is loud until 0030, although it did quieten down once bars were shut. The shower water pressure in the evening seemed a lot lower than the morning.」
