The property was exactly as listed. It was perfect for our family of 6! The kids loved the kayaks and paddle boards. The beach closet was well stocked, and the walk to the beach was quick and easy even for our four year old! This was our first time in the area, and we could not have been happier with our decision to stay at The Canal House.

Excellent unit

My husband and I had a wonderful experience. The views were lovely and the unit is extremely clean, well kept, and well appointed. Having the option of the intercostal, ocean, and pool was a big perk! This was a last minute rental for us and the property owner/manager was very accommodating.

We stayed over Thanksgiving. The place was so ckean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed for cooking and comfort. The location was awesome a short walk to the beach that was clean and lovely. Would love to stay again in the summer when we could use the kayaks and paddle boards.

Great spot for young family

Short walk to the beach and access to the intercoastal from the backyard. Wife and kids liked using the community pool in the late afternoon.

What a gem!

Our family had a blast at this property! The sunsets were amazing and the stargazing from the upper porch was magical. The proximity to the ocean was great and the pool was nice and clear. We hope to come back and actually stay a whole week!

Great weekend stay!

Very clean unit & the owners were responsive. They offered a lot of extra items that we have found are usually not included. Linens are a huge bonus, beach towels, paddle boards & kayaks are just a few. Will definitely stay again!

Topsail Vacay...

This was out 9th year on Topsail Island and it was also our 25th anniversary so we stayed for 2 weeks at The Canal House. The house was clean and it was the perfect location for our group. We had access to the canal with our boat out back, the pool, and the beach-- nice options to accommodate everyone. The hosts were very timely in response to questions. We enjoyed our stay.
