Perfect location

The pool was right outside our door and the beach was just a few feet away. Truly can’t beat the location!!! The apartment had everything you need and communication was easy via text for anything we needed such as towels. I will definitely come back and stay there again

Awesome location steps from beach.

Perfect size and location for a stress free vacation. We ate most meals on our patio. We didn't have to pack a cooler because we were walking distace to our room. Beach was never crowded. Very peaceful area. Loved everything.

Great fall get-a-way

This was a perfect late September getaway for my husband & I. We had perfect weather, the beaches and restaurants were not crowded or busy all week long. The water was warm and location perfect. The condo was perfect for our needs. The pool was right outside our sliding glass doors and the beach just steps away. Couldn't be more perfect.

Perfect little getaway ON the beach!

This was such a great location! We could, and did, walk everywhere. Our unit was next to the pool so we could hear some activity outside. The unit needs a bit of TLC, but worked well for us.

Beautiful beach

Very nice, clean condo. Very convenient location. Overall we loved it but only suggestion would be to be more specific regarding trash disposal. Instructions were to remove trash before leaving but no direction on where to take it and there was no dumpster on site that we could find.

Great Location

This condo is in a great location. Right by the beach and there’s a pool right outside the Condo. The only ding is the coffee maker in the Condo seems like it has not been cleaned in a while. Sand all over it. Other than that, everything was great. Would totally be back.

Easy access!

All on one floor. I use a cane and have breathing difficulties and it was very Easy to get to pool and beach are to see sunsets.

Basic Beach Condo did the job.

Quiet area, older complex but comfortable, air conditioner was cold, bed was comfortable, shower was hot, kitchen had what we needed, pool was literally right out back door, older but very nice. Stayed last week of August and the weather was perfect. Island was least inhabited we have ever experienced. We brought our bikes and enjoyed long bike rides on the north end. Some construction going on at the complex but had minimal impact on our stay. We would stay again.

Clean, good for short stay

The property was clean. It is good for a short stay, as the kitchen is stocked with essentials (don’t plan on gourmet meals). We had wished there were more plastic cups (4) and more dishes (4), but I guess that was matched to occupancy level. The cottage was decorated, but cabinets needed to be refreshed. More seating in the family room could be accommodated and would’ve been nice.

The Worst experience we ever had - be careful with AMI managing your rental

We received a notice 48 hours prior to our departure that our reservation had been canceled without any reasonable explanation which gave us miminum chance to react. We were offered an unreasonable option that basically forced us to cancel our reservation. We had already paid air tickets and committed to other expensys and to not loose more money we had to rent another location and because of short notice, most of the properties were sold out and we ended up paying 1000 in another location not same standard, AMI is the company managing the rental and it became very clear that they are not reliable, with no back up plan that can protect the customers, other than provide the refund. In communication with them they considered the refund as a fair response to the incident... meaning, they have no understanding of what a vacation means and all the other costs associated...

Property was clean and convenient access to beach and restaurants. Blankets for the pull out couch would have been nice and maybe a comfy chair for sitting in the living room would have been a plus. We had 4 people so the couch was a tight squeeze in the evening. Overall great stay, would rebook in the future.

Our review for Coconut stay

It is a little hard to rate this vacation rental. We loved the location, right on the beach. Everything was as described. A few things we had problems with this rental. 1. The entrance is in the back of the building, and poorly lit. 2. There was no curtain on the window on the door. 3. The curtains covering the big front windows did not cover the whole window. 4. They had a coffee maker but no filters...cant buy a small pack of them. 5. The blinds in the bedroom allowed visibility inside from the outside. These are all small things that could easily be fixed, except for the back entrance. 6. Our 5th morning, we had a major leak at the bottom of the toilet, as the water from the bathtub emptied out!! This happened before 8 am. We got clean towels because we used towels to soak up the water after 12! Plumbers came sometine later. It was disturbing to have strangers come in when we weren't there. But we didn't want to just sit there till they came. We asked for a partial refund. The manager was nice, but told us there would be no refund. He offered a 10% discount on our next visit. I told him this was a trip of a lifetime. We probably would not stay here again.

Almost There...

This property has a ton of things going for it. To start, the pool is literally 20 feet from the front door. I absolutely love that. The beach was maybe 50 feet away. To "go to the beach" you don't even need to pack anything if you don't want to. You can just take a towel and just walk back to the condo if you need something. It's that close. If you are staying in after getting too much sun the TVs in the space are great. Often times you find condos giving you small out of date TVs. That was not the case here. I titled this review "Almost There" because there are a few minor things they could do to take the space from good to great. - There was no lighting in the living room. We ended up bringing a bedroom lamp our to the living room. - Another cushioned chair in the living room would have been nice. - There was a lack of blankets in the condo. Just a sheet and bed spread on the bed, but nothing else. It would have been nice to have something to use while watching a movie. - The bathroom sink is lower than most and the toilet is small. Up to this point in life I thought toilets only came in one size. I now know that there are at least two sizes. While there were a few things that could use attention, none of them were deal breakers. We plan to book this space again next year. The location is that perfect. One last thing that would be helpful would be if there were accessible outlets outside to plug in golf carts for charging. There is one outlet on each side of this building but you have to climb through the bushes to get to it.

Only issue was outdated and shower water wouldn’t completely turn off. Biggest issue was parking

Parking is an issue since it’s close to beach access although it says parking only for coconuts resort no one abided by it. Would have been nice to have an assigned parking spot per each unit.

Great getaway

Location of property was perfect for us. Close to restaurants and activities yet quiet enough and away from busy streets. Pool right outside our sliding glass door and the ocean with beautiful beach just steps away. Plenty of room for the two of us, space was open and airy. Enjoyed our time on the island.

Disappointed

Bathroom floor dirty Bathtub would not drain for at least more than an hour which meant I had to wait on a shower or stand in bath water. Living room rug did not look like it had been vacuumed. Coffee pot needs to be replaced - not working properly. No drapes to cover all glass for privacy in living area. Lamp broken. Needs updating in areas. Bed was comfortable.

RETURN FOR SURE!

We are lifers! We have stayed in different units at the Coconuts Resort for years and always have a fantastic job. This unit was great because we had the best of both worlds... Beach for a bit in the morning, pool for an afternoon cocktail and sunset at one of the tiki tables! Unit was very clean and nicely decorated. We love this place and would definitely recommend to everyone!
