Fantastic food - Try the beef Pho noodle dish, it’s delicious! It was a very clean and comfortable stay with great hosts. Notably the en-suite shower is FANTASTIC!

A wonderful B&B in Holyhead and ideal for an overnight stay before boarding the ferry. The host, TJ, was very helpful and friendly and fully explained my stay with free options for refreshments. The room was functional and very clean with a tasty cooked breakfast in the morning. A well maintained and welcoming B&B and would definitely stay again in the future 5*

Highly recommend

A delightful stay with a friendly, thoughtful host, great food and generous portions. Comfy bed and linen, immaculately clean and excellent hot water. Good coffee and drinks of all kinds available. An excellent offer for a BnB. Owners obviously take pride in their offer.

I've been coming to Holyhead for years and this B&B is definitely top of the list! Very clean and organised with great interior design. It's also very easy to access from the ferry port/train station. Really close to come great hikes too!

TJ, the hostess with the mostess, went above and beyond in regards to helping us with our transportation issues. extremely helpful and very caring. I would highly recommend this place for someone looking for a cute B&B on top of a hill over the harbor.

We enjoyed our stay at Orient B&B, got off the ferry walked up the hill and there it was! TJ welcomed us, we mentioned we were hungry, and wonderful restaurant right there! We enjoyed a great meal with others visiting the area. We'll always remember this stay.

The Orient is situated in top of the hill above the town center of Holyhead. The walk from the train station was ~15mins through town and it is about the same distance to the waterfront park area. The staff was friendly and efficient, the place runs like clockwork and is miraculously clean. A nice lounge area with coffee and tea and comfortable couches provides an opportunity to meet fellow guests. A beautiful garden with fruit trees and flowers is a peaceful retreat. The proprietor is responsive to any questions and provides a detailed info packet with handy QR codes for every eventuality. We hope to return soon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at the Orient BB was so lovely! TJ was so accommodating and helpful for our 1 night stay. Our time at the BB and Holyhead was way too short, as we were just staying for 1 night before a morning ferry ride. Would definitely recommend anyone takes advantage of the amenities, hospitality and dining options that the Orient offers to its guests!

Perfect for an overnight stay

This family run business is extremely efficient and well run. The food is great and the place was very clean. We had a good nights sleep there before heading to Holyhead for the ferry the next morning. If you are a light sleeper I would say the walls are bit thin but it wouldn’t stop us coming back. The evening food was also excellent and is the best Vietnamese food we’ve had in an extremely long time! Thank you so much.

Above and beyond! TJ was amazing and so helpful for finding us a late night place for takeaway (the Mandarin has a large menu - good soups, noodles, chow mein) & sandwich lunches the next day from Happy Belly Deli. Highly recommend! Very welcoming location! We’ll return the next time we’re in the area.

An absolutely perfect stay! TJ (the owner/host) was super friendly and make sure we had everything we needed. Room and bathroom were clean and super tidy. The beds were super comfortable and the room super cozy. Very accomodating with free cold breakfast and a lounge area with one drink (soda, beer, wine, coffee, tea) free of charge and biscuits/cookies. Can't recomend enough. We will definitely stay again whenever we come back to Wales!
