"I rented 3 units in Hale Mahina to house my family. A friend is an owner there so I knew it must be special. With a sandy beach where you will likely see a turtle resting, and convenient access to experiences that appeal to vacationers, this is a good choice. If you rent more than the penthouse, also get a unit on the 1st floor for easier access to the pool/beach area, but it's ok if you don't. There is an elevator which definitely helps get groceries & luggage up. The view out the wall of windows & from the balcony is absolutely spectacular, whether it's sunsets or rainbows over the azure, clear surf, pure tropic serenity is in front of you. "

"Quiet oceanfront property with a view not easily matched. Condo was clean and met our needs for two adults. Location of the property is very close to many amenities, but not in the middle of a busy and noisy area. Ownership was easily to communicate with and was very responsive to our questions. Fitted sheet was small for the mattress, but definitely not an issue that would keep us from returning."

"Very comfortable, except the no A/C. Very clean complex - and friendly. Quick response to any calls. Noise level at night was a bit high, but adjusted quickly. Laundry nicely accessible. Crashing waves covered most of it. :)Loved the "local" turtles. Snorkeling on the beach was great. Lots of sweet fish as well. Although we didn't use the grill, it was wonderfully clean. Would have appreciated knowing this condo started on the second floor as photo led us to believe it was a ground floor unit. Plenty of local eateries available too."

"This house is amazing!! It was perfect because everyone can have their own space but there are also large gathering spaces available. The gym was a great added bonus. Lots of turtles in the ocean by the house. Good places to eat within walking distance."

"Had a wonderful stay with our family of 8! The condo had ample space for everyone, the condo was in a perfect location and the views from the Lanai were incredible! The resort grounds were impeccable and location was perfect and close to restaurants, beaches and boardwalks. Would definitely stay again!"

"Had a very welcoming stay in Honokawai. An older building but has everything you need and a beautiful ground floor garden Lanai. It's situated in a walkable area, with a park next door and food trucks down the street. Plus the best Cinnamon buns ever at Papi Ohana's. David was very accomodating and very quick to respond. "

"This property and vacation was everything I had hoped for. The two units fit our family of 11 (8 adults and 3 children) perfectly. We had a bedroom for each couple and one for the kids. The views are amazing and we watched turtles pass by the balcony 24/7. One turtle decided to beach himself right under our balcony for the afternoon. We saw whales, dolphins, and even a monk seal stopping by to check out the turtle. The only thing missing was one of the parking passes but a simple phone call and they immediately dropped it off. They were very prompt with our request and checked to make sure we didn't need anything else. We snorkeled daily right outside the complex and the kids played endlessly in the pool and on the sandy beach. Not all of the complexes have a sandy beach so this was a bonus. We BBQ'd several meals and made use of the pool toys, beach chairs, and coolers for our excursions. I would highly recommend this location and hope to make this a regular trip. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed."
